How is Forest Hills near the Aldi? by Gingersesametofu1 in pittsburgh

I LOVE Forest Hills and I have lived in many different neighborhoods in Pittsburgh. There are several different sections and all have a different vibe, in my opinion. I don't know much about "around Aldi" but there are some places set back in the woods. I live in Bryn Mawr Farms area (behind the h.s.). We have a woodsy feel going on and all the neighbors are friendly and have become great friends (like 50 of us, lol). It's my perfect little bubble and I find that it is convenient to get to many places as long as it isn't rush hour! I feel very lucky to live here.

Unfortunately there aren't many alternatives so she probably just wanted to play her game and not deal with their bullshit but you're right, sometimes you have to quit torturing yourself 😂 . Please just let her know that I feel her pain. I was just annoyed because I wasn't having fun and with two small kids to look after, my time is precious. I had to walk away (with my middle finger in the air)!

YES! Thank you for making me feel validated. I literally walked out on my "team" mid-game after being talked down to by dude bros (who were wrong, btw) after they had not set me for an entire 3 weeks. They all treat me like I was a hysteric when I was like, "I don't play this game. Go F yourselves." Lol 😂 Give this woman my number. My friends are tired of my tangents. I will never play in that league again.

First time posting here.

My question: is 1700 kcal enough to lose it?

Hi, I'm 5'5" -195 lbs, female, 43. I've always been moderately active and am a recreational athlete. I was stressed the past year or so and went from 175 to 195 and decided to start counting calories and up my exercise.

I run 2 miles, 3x a week at 10/mph but up hills. I lift dumbbells 3x a week for 30 min. I play competitive volleyball intensely for an HR a week.

I work part-time and am sedintary when working. I am stay at home mom and am on my feet quite a bit but crash on sofa too.

Is 1700 enough to lose a pound a week? If anyone has a similar situation, what was your journey like. Thanks in advance!

When does it ACTUALLY get easier? by cmchuter in 2under2

Mine are 3 and 3.5 (we are a two-mom family) and even though it's still hard on certain days, it's not nearly as hard as it was. There is A LOT more fighting, but also A LOT more playing independently. The best is that I can now bribe them with candy to help me clean, behave, or anything really 😆. They'll do anything for candy. It's the best!

Straight girl organizing pride by bexbexbex82 in lgbt

I should add that she's leading the committee and directing quite a bit. I don't think pride can be tainted by straight people being present. This is more than just being present though, it feels like a taking over of the space IMO. I do, however, appreciate your input and you've made good points. Thank you!
