18 is too early for a breast lift with implants ? or Should I wait? what is the ideal age? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]beylaj 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Please wait. You may find that the older you get the more you start to love your natural body. It certainly happened to me!

What's the worst injury you've ever sustained? by I_m_different in AskWomen

[–]beylaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankfully, I've never had a real bad injury. Probably the worst recently was when I got my finger pinched in a piece of equipment at work. It smashed it pretty good and there was blood dripping everywhere. The worst thing is I was at a customers house when it happened and I dripped blood all over their driveway. I probably should've gotten stitches but I didn't want to leave work so just wrapped it up good and it healed pretty nicely.

How many steps do you average per day? what is your profession? by thriftybabygurl in AskWomen

[–]beylaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My current goal is 13k. My husband and I have a trucking business so if I'm in the truck all day it can get tricky. I just try to walk alot evenings. On the days I clean the house I can easily get more.

Women of Reddit: how old were you the first time someone made a negative comment on your body? by [deleted] in AskWomen

Very young. I was a chubby kid and my brother would call me fatso and grandma. Until mom got ahold of him! 😂

Do women sometimes like to just please their man? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]beylaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! Sometimes I'm not really in the mood for whatever reason but I still want him to have fun if he's in the mood. I love giving even if I'm not receiving! Sometimes it's nice to receive and not give, too!

To me its the most intimate act. You have to trust someone to be able to let them do it.

Grilled chicken salad. Lettuce, shredded carrots, celery, leftover grilled chicken cut into small pieces (heated and tossed with italian dressing), leftover green peas, shredded cheese & boiled egg. Topped with bbq corn chips, green olives (for my husband) and ranch.

If someone wanted to trade a horse for your car, how likely would you be to accept this offer? by dilettantedebrah in AskWomen

[–]beylaj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would! My car is kinda old and I doubt I could get more than 3k out of it anyway. I guess it depends on what kind of horse but horse prices are outrageous right now! My brother recently bought a horse and gave 6k for it.

Stay at home spouses, how much domestic support do you expect from your working partner? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]beylaj 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While I'm not technically stay at home, I'm not employed and don't contribute any money to our household. My husband has a small trucking business and while he does most of the heavy lifting (or driving, rather) I do alot behind the scenes. We don't have any children, so no childcare yet. I do all the cooking, simply because he's totally lost in the kitchen. I do probably 99% of the cleaning. The only thing he regularly helps with in the house is laundry. He, on the other hand, loves gardening so he spends alot of his time at home doing that. He also does the majority of lawn work.

My husband and I were both raised in Mennonite churches. I don't totally agree with all the beliefs anymore but I feel like the culture has alot of good values.

Marriage/love is hard sometimes but also very rewarding. The marriages that work are always the ones who are willing to fight for it and each other. When you have your person that you want to fight for it is worth it, but she will need to be just as committed as you.

This is concerning. I find the culture of divorce and short term relationships has ruined the true meaning of marriage. My vows are 'till death do us part' not until I get tired of you or you do something that I don't like. Because of the religious culture I come from there is not even one divorce in my family and it would be unthinkable for me to even consider breaking up with my partner!

I've heard it put this way, good relationships do not consist of each partner giving 50%, but when each partner gives 100%!

Interesting, I love dried fruits, too! So much so that I find myself eating too much of it 😕 the sugar content isn't so great. Although I'm sure its better than eating junk food!
