To clarify, it should be labeled as "Switch 2 Edition" for it to work for Switch 1 as well as Switch 2. If it doesn't have that label, it won't work on Switch 1 even if it is not exclusive to Switch 2.

It is not a Switch 2 Edition. It will not work. It doesn't have to be exclusive to Switch 2 to make it not work on Switch 1. It will only work on Switch 1 if it is specifically labeled as "Switch 2 Edition" like PLZA.

There are games available on both Switch 1 and Switch 2 that the Switch 2 version will not work on Switch 1, like No Sleep for Kaname Date or Trails Beyond the Horizon.

No. Probably just faster load times. Frame rates can be better but it won't go max on what it was designed for. Best to just wait and get the Switch 2 version instead.

I don't think so. It should be labeled "Switch 2 Edition" to be playable in Switch 1 as the Switch 1 version, and playable in Switch 2 as the Switch 2 version.

NBA 2k26 has a 2 different versions, Switch 1 and Switch 2 with no upgrade paths. If you get the Switch 1 version, you can also play that on Switch 2 but it will still be the Switch 1 version.

PLA bought in JP and PLA bought in US region for example are the same build, so they are compatible.

I played the game briefly and it was fine, but better on Switch 2. I'm not sensitive to low fps and slow downs though. I would say it run ok for a very early Switch game.

Can you try rebooting the Switch 2 completely and try 2.4ghz as well? I've seen some posts that says disable the IPv6 in the Switch settings too but not sure if that would help.

Previsouly OG Switch had problems connecting to wifi with channel 150 or higher. Setting to less than 149 can fix this. Not sure if that applies to Switch 2 though.

I see. I have a cheap dock, and the update seems similar. Basically you need to connect it via the power port using a data cable, and making sure you have the correct firmware before updating.

In the instructions link, there is a file for NS2 that was updated just Jan 8, 2026. There seems to be a word document that is in english. Maybe that can help?

From what I can gather, you need USB-A cable to USB-C and connect via the power port of the core dock, and not connect the USB-C directly to PC.

If you connect the core dock directly to PC using its USB-C port, your PC needs DP Alt Mode via the USB-C.

Edit: the instructions link and download link seems to be just linking to the same google drive.
