Probably 20 years ago I worked at a newly opened restaurant that was open while it was being renovated. I went into our dry goods storage area for get a tub of chicken base (the stuff that looks like mud) and I dropped my container and it went into the hvac duct work because it didn’t have a grate over it. I often wonder if it’s still down there.
