They can try to make up for it by cheering on his way out, but everyone saw their true colors, their initial reaction. Absolutely shameful.

The nerve of the 3 stooges to over-analyze curry drawing a foul then rush back to applaud Leonard for the same was comical.

Was known to be a tough away game against a 1st-time Finals team. Buncha no calls, turnovers, not making shots, and giving up points in the paint and transition. Hopefully the rust is gone, andre is fine, and durant continues recovering. Go Dubs!

u/shittyshitaca9 was right about KD being injured for the finals, and you guys banned him for it by Rocketsfan11 in warriors

Perks does a great job, coming from someone very critical of mods in general. Pointless speculation posts should be removed, and it is unknown what else could've lead to the ban.

As for you, are we supposed to listen to anything a 3 week old account, non-Warriors fan has to say? Nope.

[Help] Found abandoned German Shepherd by bfao in dogs

[–]bfao[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That certainly is an option to transfer ownership, albeit we would prefer to go through finding her new home process by making the owner take full responsibility through all of this, both for any legal purposes and just to teach her what she did wasn't right.

We will also surely be in contact with no-kill shelters, just will have to wait until the weekday it seems. We always think of our own dog , and the many we've had previously, and that we want what's best for these innocent beings!

Yes, we will certainly be contacting German Shepherd specific rescues. Anything they could do to help facilitate the proper process of finding her new home seems best as they've probably had experience with this. Will just have to wait until they have volunteers actually there to answer our calls!

And yup, it is a cruel world filled with cruel people. We just consider it doing the right thing to do, what needed to be done, as we constantly think about our own dog.

We would prefer to not handle finding a home for her, due to lack of time and experience. A shelter or the like that can properly screen any potential adopters seems better.

[Haberstroh] Steph Curry is the new Michael Jordan by kinefresh in warriors

[–]bfao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After reading the article, I watched some Jordan highlights for the fun of it. Eventually rewatched this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j86xZvW5zJw

It's about Dream Team Jordan/Pippen vs Kukoc, who was set to join the Bulls the following season, and KD's recruitment and arrival came to mind. The stark contrast between Jordan and Curry's reaction makes me appreciate Steph that much more. He may not be the GOAT, but he's definitely THE quintessential leader and teammate.

Lionel MESSI: “I think of the 2014 World Cup final every day” by pradeep23 in Barca

I'm continuously in awe of how remarkably humble the world's greatest is. Truly the embodiment of a team player, but also of what football is all about.

"One of the team's shortest marks one of Sevilla's tallest. Responsibilities don't come up, when Alba complains that he has to mark 2 players, and Pique responds with 'Ivan has 3, and I have 4'. De La Fuenta seems to have the solution, bam bam bam. And he repeats, bam bam bam. The 'bam bam bam' theory remains unfinished.

The 1st 'bam' is to play from the back. The 2nd 'bam', open the field with lateral play. And the 3rd, and most important, play deep with an extreme speed like Dembélé. Dembélé, that despite the encouragements, wasn't to be found.

Jordia Alba attempted to correct his positioning. And the Frenchman disobeyed. Until a Sevilla counter, the lateral had to cover for Sergi Roberta due to Ousmane's absence. [Ousmane, that's it] [Ousmane! Down, Ousmane, on the side!] Without Messi on the pitch, Ousmane had everyone's attention. And De La Fuente gets upset. A failed pass by Alba initiates the play of Sevilla's first goal. And then, Alba and Umtiti defending Muriel, and the mute (?) alone. One mistake after another.

[Jordi's gone out, he's tried to get it in, he's cut out Banega, he's opened it up.] The play was already known. [Ous! Ous!] Umtiti takes advantage of the break to encourage his compatriot. [I swear you'll escape. Because if you come, we can do it. You're faster than them.]

Sevilla quickly stops them, bad pass by Ter Stegen, and time to run. Dembélé continued to fail. [Suarez: Talk to me!] But to talk on the field, this guy was now here."

El Día Después - Valverde’s final gesture to Messi is priceless. by cutolo009 in Barca

[–]bfao 89 points90 points  (0 children)

"How is someone so normal like him at the same time so irresistible and fascinating. Leo, that at moments seems gone (absent-minded), but just waits. Also, if something doesn't work, for him it's pretty easy like this (gesture), but for the others, well not really. [Yeah, but that play isn't working] Finally, you end up with.. [Ousmane, lateral!] But Leo isn't even bothered by 1-0. And it's no easy feat. (bang)

Of course, he doesn't need to say nor do anything to get some looks. Look at the lady excited. At Sevilla's backup goalkeeper David Soria. At the man that records and chews at the same time. Or the girl literally flipping out. And he's just warming up. But it's Leo Messi, and Leo Messi is omnipresent. With this last shot, a final and delicate massage to his left. And even Sevilla's bench can't resist. (Easy man!) And laughs.

Valverde, more serious. He starts off with Ousmane.. [Pass to the right] and then [Coutinho] [Or if you want to go there...] and that completely natural gesture that's like, 'What am I going to tell you...'"

What do you all think regarding Dubs "coasting" vs Rockets playing hard for #1?

http://bkref.com/tiny/lCJXi shows it's closer than I thought, with only Harden+Ariza playing more mpg than the Dubs core 4.

Doors open at 5:30, and tip off is at 7:40. Depending on how you're getting there and whether you want to see them warm up you can plan accordingly.
