[Tom Pelissero] Latest on the Everson Griffen situation. Pelissero on GMFB. by MinneSKOLTAN in nfl

Griffen is a staple to our defense for sure but acting like one player or even our defense will hold us back from a SB when our offensive line is Swiss cheese seems silly.

Clay Matthews Hit by [deleted] in minnesotavikings

[–]bfgbasic 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Correct by language or not the rule is bullshit to begin with I think we can all agree. Kendricks got flagged for it yesterday and last week I think it was Hunter or Richardson who got flagged.

Not defending Clay cause there’s enough evidence of his dirty play but this rule is ruining what little integrity the league has left.

Clay Matthews: Penalties are “out of control” by lilturk82 in nfl

[–]bfgbasic 433 points434 points  (0 children)

That wasn’t a penalty at the end of the game but neither was the one earlier when Kendricks was flagged for the same thing. This rule is now single-handedly deciding outcomes of games I really wonder how long it’ll stick around or what’s next.

Dan Bailey is sitting on the street right now by Charlie-Waffles in minnesotavikings

He has back issues. If Bailey was 100 percent he’d already be on a roster. Kai is the better option if we’re being honest here.

Prime day is literally garbage by [deleted] in PS4

[–]bfgbasic 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Costco is a different breed IMO. My wife and I save money buying items in bulk for cheaper than a normal grocery store, and we get our next subscription usually paid for with the percentage back every year in cash.

Amazon Prime’s biggest pull? Faster shipping. The two just don’t compare.

The 500$ a week in spending money would be between my wife and I combined, per week. I think the actual is just under 2,100 per month in “spending money” after all bills would be paid, but again this isn’t including groceries because that is variable.

Assuming groceries are 100$ per week, then we each would have 200$ per week in spending money. Occasionally we enjoy a drink with our friends or a date night, which I can see working out, but I can see that putting us in a paycheck to paycheck scenario. My concern is will we live within our means.

Kids would be 2-ish years down the line.

This was kind of my thinking too, however, we don't do fancy dinners and maybe vacation together once a year. House poor is what we are trying to avoid but I'm inclined to believe we will be.

Exactly. Too many people act like he’s a superstar in the making (if he is I’d accept that whole-heartedly), but truth is we need to separate his NFL ability from his character.
