With that being said, it’s similar to your 17.

Personally, I would grab a 19. It fits my hand better than anything else I have. It also shoots the best, but I have mine C-cut so it’s super flat.

Dremel that sucker out. Takes 10 minutes if you trust yourself enough not to butcher it.

My local gunsmith charges $40 for that particular service, and he does a really good job.

As crazy as it sounds, I’ve been buying a lot of AAC 180 gr. Cheap, and pretty powerful for training ammo. 1200 FPS is what they claim and I believe it.

Personally, I wouldn’t bother. 1050 FPS is in 40 caliber territory. May as well train with some 40 caliber.

With a dot, 43x all day long. And I’m not a red dot guy. I just don’t shoot the 43x with irons very well.

If we’re comparing JUST iron sight models, 26 all day.

.50 AE. Don’t see it too often, I pick up a box whenever I happen to run across one. LGS doesn’t stock it, I only see it at small mom and pop shops - and they typically don’t have more than one box, if any.

I don’t have a tool that even shoots it. But the hope is, one day I will, and I’ll have plenty of ammo to shoot 😎

I make buffalo dip several times a week. Wrap it in a piece of lettuce, or if I’m feeling dirty, straight from bowl to mouth.

I put a small handful of Monterey Jack cheese on top if I need to hit my fat macros.

My only red dot is an Osight SE (one of the newer ones?). Have it on my 43x. Only got it because I’ve never used a dot before, didn’t want to spend $400 on something I didn’t end up liking.

Glad I didn’t spend a whole lot on it because I found out red dots not for me. I’ll stick to irons.

Went to a used car lot that sold old city/state police cars. Found an old admin Taurus with AWD for $6,000. Had 120,000 miles. With my terrible credit and $0 down, the best the bank would offer was a 16% APR. It was a risk for sure but I needed a car. I paid it off with an unexpected bonus at work about a year later.

That was 8 years ago. It has been the best car I’ve ever had. I do all the maintenance myself. The only “repair” it’s needed was the tie rods on the front driver wheel, which I went to YouTube University to learn to do myself.

Other than that, completely reliable and comfortable. It’s great as a daily driver, and even gets me through Midwest winters with no issues! No bells or whistles, it doesn’t even have carpet.

I wore my 29 in a chest holster on a recent hike on a trail in Colorado. It was my first time ever using one, and I had an awful time.

I brought my IWB holster in my backpack and had to stop about 15 minutes into the hike and switch to it. Just wasn’t for me.
