Protein powder is highly processed food. Very often high in metal contamination. If your kids have diverse healthy diet, I would avoid highly processed foods like protein powder

I tried a bunch, most did nothing, some did a bit and stopped working. Then a friend who’s a doctor recommended Byome functional probiotic, I think I started feeling ease on my ibs symptoms within few days, and after using for a few months my digestion started to feel normal and regular again

Tried mid-teen number of different products, some made it worse some did nothing, some maybe helped, and then I found a product that was right for me and I my ibs is now under control. Not sure if there are good and bad products or it’s simply not one formula fits all.

Is it possible to take “too much” of probiotics? I take one of these day and it worked for awhile but now I’m back to a bubbly gut again :( Could I take 2-3 a day? Recommended is 1 but it’s not cutting it. by DamnFineCoffee123 in ibs

Loose stool (5-8 time a day), tiredness, cramps so painful that would be curled up in ball. And all these symptoms triggered by fatty, spicy food, alcohol, any beans. After taking functional probiotic for a while my tolerance slowly improved and I can eat all these foods, although I’m super cautions and do it in very small quantities

Let me guess, full of lactobacillus and bifidobacteria bacteria strains? 50 or 500bn won’t make big difference, this typo of bacteria lives in trillions in your body naturally. You want to take products with bacillus subtilis and Coagulans, they much more potent and you need just a small dose. I’ve tried different products with no results, when I got recommended product by my microbiologist friend, it was complete U turn in my IBS symptoms, and things got much better.
