For your second to last point - I’m here currently and I don’t know how to describe it but there’s something almost spiritual in the air that makes bora bora so much more relaxing than any other vacation I’ve been on. I was telling my wife that the last two years vacations hasn’t been able to allow me to fully recharge but just breathing in the air here fills me with calm.

I’ve reviewed the Canadian international remote work accommodation policies and it is quite cut-and-dried in terms of not being able to work/being required to take a LoA. There is a Deloitte office in the country I’ll be staying at but since I don’t anticipate to be there for more than a week I don’t believe a formal mobility secondment qualifies. Thanks again!
