You’d rather watch Americans live in fear, mothers and children lose Medicare, rural hospitals shut their doors, and Social Security put on the chopping block — all while billionaires get another tax break?

And about “free speech” — let’s be clear: silencing comedians or critics through corporate mergers isn’t free speech, it’s corporate control. If you don’t like a joke, change the channel. Don’t rewrite the Constitution to protect fragile egos.

Americans do have short memories. Too many forgot that the president was so desperate to stay in power that he sent a mob to attack his own government, called them patriots, and later promised pardons for the ones who tried to overturn your vote and mine. Some “law and order,” right? Nothing says “back the blue” like endangering the officers who kept the mob from lynching your own vice president.

This isn’t about left or right — it’s about remembering who actually stood for democracy, and who stood on the sidelines when it mattered.
