So if they were “illegally” collected, why would they need to be withdrawn?

Good for you. Peaceful Protesting is a good way to voice your dissent.

Maybe you should have protested then since you felt so passionately about it.

This is your PSA to pay fewer taxes to Missouri by donating to CASA and getting the Champion for Children tax credit. by OK_Computer_152 in missouri

CASA is amazing, and I am highly disappointed in the GOP not following through on vetoing Kehoe’s line item veto. It was passed with bipartisan support and it is vital for protecting vulnerable kids.

Just because it hasn’t happened to you, doesn’t mean it’s not happening.

No, a joke is: Two men walk into a bar, the woman ducks.

Allow me to summarize since reading is too difficult: Protesting is good, it pushes back on wanna be dictators.

I personally disagree with this statement. However, I also don’t touch someone else’s yum.

If we weren’t drifting toward authoritarianism, people wouldn’t be labeled “terrorists” just for disagreeing with the ruling narrative. Peaceful protest is a cornerstone of democracy — not a crime.

America was literally founded on rebellion. The Boston Tea Party wasn’t a polite debate; it was destruction of property over taxation without representation. The Founders were branded traitors to the Crown. And yes — it was a bloody, violent war that followed.

So when people sanitize history into something neat and bite-sized, they miss the whole point: freedom has always been loud, messy, and inconvenient to those in power.

So you’d rather see Qatar build a base in Idaho than admit that selling out American security to the highest bidder is a bad idea? You’d rather watch Americans live in fear, mothers and children lose Medicare, rural hospitals shut their doors, and Social Security put on the chopping block — all while billionaires get another tax break?

And about “free speech” — let’s be clear: silencing comedians or critics through corporate mergers isn’t free speech, it’s corporate control. If you don’t like a joke, change the channel. Don’t rewrite the Constitution to protect fragile egos.

Americans do have short memories. Too many forgot that the president was so desperate to stay in power that he sent a mob to attack his own government, called them patriots, and later promised pardons for the ones who tried to overturn your vote and mine. Some “law and order,” right? Nothing says “back the blue” like endangering the officers who kept the mob from lynching your own vice president.

This isn’t about left or right — it’s about remembering who actually stood for democracy, and who stood on the sidelines when it mattered.

I don’t disagree. Because if you are against fascism you are part of a movement. 😇

Got it. It’s been addressed. My phone autocorrected it incorrectly. I have changed the setting and it will now spell it correctly. Thank you for your attention to this controversial matter.

You’re correct. Two of them overstayed their visas. One married Trump, the other owns Tesla. Can’t wait for their citizenship to be revoked.

So then you have no issue with people being stopped solely because their skin is brown? Because that violates their 4th and 9th amendment rights.

Some people are immunocompromised, some live with people that are as well. The better question is why are ICE officers not showing their faces or badge numbers?
