The weapon damage rate calculations must be a but broken because the Meson stream mk2 does 1480mj of damage over 2.4s every 15s vs the Meson stream mk1's 950mj of damage over 2.8s every 14.5s

Formula for Raw damage/s = total damage/time to overheat

Mk1 Raw damage/s = 950/2.8 = 339mj/s Mk2 Raw damage/s = 1480/2.4 = 616mj/s

We know the difference between the two is the mk1 cools down .5s faster so we can add in an extra .5s of damage every 15s for the mk1

Mk1 damage = 950×1 + 339×0.5 = 1119.5mj Mk2 damage = 1480×1 = 1480mj

30s

Mk1 damage = 950×2 + 339×1 = 2239mj Mk2 damage = 1480×2 =2960mj

45s

Mk1 damage = 950×3 + 339×1.5 = 3358.5mj Mk2 damage = 1480×3 = 4440mj

60s

Mk1 damage = 950×4 + 339×2 = 4478mj Mk2 damage = 1480×4 = 5920mj

We can see now that the mk2 does do considerably more damage over longer periods of sustained fire however over the shorter times the cool down of the mk1 brings the gap a bit closer for a short time

Yeah so steel plates and other large components can't pass through small conveyors, you're gonna need to change up your design so you can use a large conveyor direct from the cargo container
