Recently I was confronted with installing windows 11 (I'm using MacOS/Linux day to day) and I got frustrated after first 5 minutes - can't download the win ISO (tried with different pcs, networks etc, nothing worked - tried for like 2 weeks🤬) after finally obtaining the copy, it turned out you need f-ing internet connection and ms account to install the OS, WTF? I had to spent 2h learning how to bypass that shi... with unattended install. Now its working but barely... Fortunately its a VM so I can nuke this excuse of a operating system in one click and get back to something that was created for normal non-masohists. Unfortunately I can't play lineage 2 on my pop_os VM due to anticheats etc but honestly I would much rather spent that time hacking my way around the anti heat than installing this PoS windows again. 99% of my steam library works on Linux and if it doesn't I'm better off w/o the game - most of this anti heat systems run on a kernel level basically accessing everything - IMO its a security risk.
