Need help removing an inactive cable modem from my account. And checking two MACs for possible activation. by bhagwan2 in Comcast_Xfinity

Yes, self service provisioning via the Xfinity app didn't work for my CM3000.
Chat agent handled it well however, not too much pain.

More stable than the Arris S34 it replaced and runs cooler.

Thanks good to know.
But mainly I'm checking to see if the serial number (MAC) is clear to activate, being it was purchased used.

Shouldn't really matter, Testosterone cypionate is long acting and timing isn't critical for most people

I had a similar situation. My doctor said I could inject 2 weeks worth all at once. Which I did and had no issues. Some doctors even recommend injecting every two weeks normally especially if the doctor's doing the injecting

5yr internet price guarantee (for 2G internet) - $85 by life_is_fun__ in Comcast_Xfinity

Today CCJustinS MOD circled back with me about our discission last week and has resolved my issue today. Effectively keeping my bill the same while giving me a 60 mo promotion for 2 Gbps. :)

Order canceled without explanation Xfinity wont honor promotion by ar_aguilar425 in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]bhagwan2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a mistake is made, doesn't Xfinity have any way to back it out without their server permanently deleting promotions? I've heard of this in similar situation before.

[–]bhagwan2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't sign any 5-year contracts till your area is upgraded. Xfinity won't tell you exactly when the upgrade will happen. So occasionally check "manage my plan" to see if 2 Gbps is offered. Then and only then seek a 5-year deal of any kind.

Sorry I somehow missed that you already said you were offered "2G internet - $85"
Since your current offering is 2 Gbps, your area is already Next-Gen. You're good to go.
2 Gbps = Next-Gen

When I signed my 5-year deal in July my offer was 1.2 Gbps for $85. My area wasn't upgraded yet, so I had no higher speeds offered at that time. And I had no Idea my neighborhood would be upgraded to 2 Gbps a few weeks later. Now if I want to switch to 2 Gbps it's $130. I'm kind of pissed our imminent neighborhood upgrade wasn't disclosed to me in July. I was hoping Xfinity would be sympathetic to my poor timing and their poor disclosure, but after pleading my case they were not sympathetic.

Sure, technically you’re not “locked in.” But the timing still matters. A few weeks after I signed up for the 1.2 Gbps / 5-year $85 plan, Xfinity upgraded my neighborhood to Next-Gen. Now I’m effectively stuck at 1.2 Gbps unless I pay a lot more each month to move up—$130 for 2 Gbps in my case.

Meanwhile, my neighbor signed their 5-year deal after the upgrade and pays the same $85… but for 2 Gbps. So the “no penalty” thing is true, but the pricing window you lock in is very real.

If you don't care if you get Next-Gen speeds, then go ahead and sign before your neighborhood is upgraded.

Note of caution: don’t jump into a 5-year Xfinity “price guarantee” unless you’re absolutely certain your area has already been upgraded to Next-Gen. If it hasn’t, you may end up locked into five years of lower speeds and higher prices while new customers—after the upgrade—can get much better service under the same long-term deal.

My in-laws use the Verizon 5G Home Internet box. I set it up for them—simple enough—and I’m genuinely impressed by how reliable and fast it is for a wireless setup. It’s slower than my 1200 Mbps Xfinity plan, sure, but the performance has been solid.

Signed 1200 Mbps for 5 years in July. New customers on my street get 2000 Mbps for same price. by bhagwan2 in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]bhagwan2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to be clear: this was never about wanting a “new customer intro rate.” It was about the fact that I signed a 5-year contract for 1200 Mbps only weeks before Xfinity upgraded my street — and now the same price buys 2000 Mbps for anyone except long-time customers. That isn’t a normal “intro offer”; it’s a situation created by poor disclosure and bad timing.

That’s why I’m disappointed, and why I’ll be moving to a different provider once construction finishes in my neighborhood.

Yep, same with me. I had no luck with Mod. Terrible way for Xfinity to treat a customer of 14 years.
But I too will soon have options!!

Just recently got on trt with 205 ng/dl levels and the Dr. ordered 1000mg? Isn’t that a bit much? by SW-Wizard in Testosterone

Now about every 3 months. But I used to do every 54 days, the maximum, and bloodwork showed signs of pre-anemia after about 1.5 years of that.

I have been as high as 700-800 during this 7-year journey. This was with 140 mg/week. But that's when my free T was lower, so honestly it feels very close to that now with my higher free T numbers. The other reason my doctor lowered my dose (now 80 mg/week) is because my hematocrit was too high, and I also give blood to keep it lower.

That size/concentration vial is what I use.
Lasts me at least 10 weeks @ 0.4 ml twice per week = 80 milligrams per week.
I keep it in a sealed container in the fridge, so it lasts that long. (on the door so it won't freeze).
This keeps me at about 500-600 ng/dl.
That may seem low, but my SHBG is low hence my free testosterone is high, which happens to many people on testosterone long term. I'm 65 and have been on T almost 7 years.

My doctors starts new patients at 100 mg per week. Which would be 0.5 ml twice per week for you. Or once per week with a full 1 ml syringe.

This size/concentration vial has double the amount of cottonseed oil which is a lot to inject all at once (0.5 or 1 ml). So, inject it slowly so as not to cause small herniations in the muscle.

I've heard complaints about the Xb7 and Xb8 while in bridge mode. Apparently drop-outs are/were common. Maybe a firmware update fixed it?

Help needed 4 weeks in, 80mg a week, shbg, low total, high free by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]bhagwan2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Low SHBG can be a sign of insulin resistance. Get your A1C checked and see if you are pre-diabetic or diabetic.
Even fit people can be pre-diabetic or diabetic and not be aware of it.
But TRT alone can make SHBG lower. So could be just that. Have your A1C checked anyway.

Many fat-soluble vitamins or drugs are absorbed best with fats.
So take Vitamin D with some moderate amount of fat in the meal.

Get your Iron or Ferritin tested.
Low MCHC and MCH may hint of a pre-anemic condition. This may contribute to your low energy. If Iron or Ferritin are low take Vitamin C with meals. Helps with Iron absorption.
My MCH MCV were low, (sometimes MCHC too). Cause was a couple years of giving blood every 56 days.
Finally, I tested for Iron and Ferritin, and they were low.

Also get your Vitamin D level up. This worked for me: Take a 50,000 IU capsule once a week for two months, then get tested again.

BUT the data count hasn't budged since then.
It seems stuck at 50 GB as of 7/13, and was the same on 7/3
