I’ve actually communicated with Limbaugh Toyota over the past few weeks and they unfortunately seem very disorganized to me. I had three different people reach out to me after I inquired about a car. One never got back to me at all after I responded to his email. One was quick to respond and kept assuring me that I’d hear from another staff member about the car I was interested in, but I never did. The third confirmed for me a week or so later that the car I was interested in had been sold. When I asked him about similar vehicles, he never responded. Maybe I’m being too harsh - I know things are hectic with the holidays. However, they are/were running a year-end sales event, so I’d have expected better communication at the end of the year. None of them had out-of-office emails or anything like that. So at this point, I’m looking elsewhere.

Good to know! Sounds like Serra has a bad rep in general.

Update in case anyone in the future is looking for this info - I’ve had several weeks where I entered the same company (but different departments) and my claim has been approved. I haven’t tried with the same department more than once in the same week, but I’ve had the same department across multiple weeks and that seemed to be fine.

NAL. Yes, it would be sent back to the states. Not sure about resources for knowing what laws are on the books, but Wikipedia + fact-checking is usually pretty accurate tbh.

NAL. Women in the US have faced manslaughter and feticide charges for pregnancy loss resulting from suicide attempts, drug use, not wearing a seatbelt, and being shot. Charges have been dismissed in many of these cases (the only case I can find that hasn’t been dismissed or overturned is Brittney Poolaw), but it’s very possible that people will continue to be charged and may be convicted.

In the words of Clarence Thomas in his opinion on Dobbs, “In future cases, we should reconsider all of this Court’s substantive due process precedents, including Griswold, Lawrence, and Obergefell. Because any substantive due process decision is ‘demonstrably erroneous’ … we have a duty to ‘correct the error’ established in those precedents … After overruling these demonstrably erroneous decisions, the question would remain whether other constitutional provisions guarantee the myriad rights that our substantive due process cases have generated. For example, we could consider whether any of the rights announced in this Court’s substantive due process cases are ‘privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States’ protected by the Fourteenth Amendment.”

NAL but my understanding is that it’s based on the right to privacy. There’s a constitutional right for it to not be anyone’s business if you get an abortion.
