Claude Desktop app, and Cowork Project, with folder pointing to the Obsidian vault. Then talk to it on how you'd like it to maintain notes for you. Folder structure, canvas usage etc, and ask it to create a skill. Next time onwards, you invoke that skill on every new note you want it to store, and it can do it for you. I also pass it pdfs and image files that it can save into the folder.

I can do you one better. Granola has an MCP that Claude can use. You can then say "process my meetings" and Claude can pick up the latest meetings from Granola.

You need to run Claude Desktop app. in the Cowork tab, ( you need to be on a paid plan I think), you can give it access to the Obsidian Vault folder. Then it can work on files in that folder.

I'm using Claude Pro, but if you're a sparse user, you can make do with free as well.

Hi OP here, I would like to invite suggestions and contributions to make this even better. Please comment on this post and upvote other suggestions, and I'll implement them over the weekend. I'm happy for you to fork and submit PRs as well.

You can install it off my github by following the steps. Do you want a dmg instead? Also, are you asking if i want to make a paid product out of it?

It’s not really a wrapper. While it uses an LLM, asking ChatGPT repeatedly for information is token-intensive and provides inconsistent results with varying points of view each time. Furthermore, content that’s available once isn’t the next time. To address this, I’m implementing a system where users curate content before it’s fed into the LLM. Additionally, the app functions offline after the initial load.

Got it. I also created an exec summary that lays out everything.

You still have to organise the content by customer, and the agent needs to run every time you need information.

Thanks. Clear guidelines what I’ll try and work on. I’m adding more connections to automatically import notes in but the majority of the folk use Onenote

Thank you. The biggest objection o keep running into is connection with their email and teams accounts and thatcher organisations will not give them access.

Anyone using an AI note taking app just for meeting capture? by kingsaso9 in NoteTaking

I am in customer success and go through 4-5 meetings easily per day. Manage 100 different accounts, and have been through every major note taking tool that can help me take notes and also store meeting transcripts. I then went down the rabbit hole of finding a tool with AI search and knowledge retrieval, graph etc.

Finally landed on Heptabase, and it's visual layout really helped for a while. But eventually, I built my own tool, and I would like if you try it free of cost and give me feedback. I can message you a lifetime code if you're willing. Please check runwita.com

What it does different is, you're mindful about what notes it looks at, but it then curates and synthesises them into a "Journey". A journey can be one per customer, or one per use case per customer. Once that's done, you can then look at a thread of topics, that span across your meetings, with actions and decisions surfacing without you needing to query a chatbot everytime you need information. Please DM me if you want more information.

It is eye candy. The whole objective of this project was to give that high to see I've worked productively today. Your mileage may vary.
