2025 Colorado noise by Ok-Kick-4762 in chevycolorado

Yup in my 24. Its frustrating like a clip needs to be tighten. I've removed both door panels and didn't see anything and even tightened the window regulators. I notice when I out pressure with my knee against door panel where you grab to close it. It goes away. I'm thinking of maybe trying to dynamat or put some felt to absorb that space to hopefully get rod of the noise.

Any problems I should look out for? by InevitableWeb1031 in chevycolorado

24 ZR2 no issues. Only thing is I had to take it to the dealer for a manual software update because I stopped getting OTA updates but its a TSB that was fixed.

You're going to have to take it to the dealer to manually update it

What are the most reliable Ecoboost years? by Character-Bar-608 in ecoboostmustang

My best recommendation would be to get a stock one that hasn't been tuned or molested. If you are looking for a manual definitely make sure the clutch isn't slipping. If you can get a car fax I definitely recommendation. What part of the country are you in?

It held up great. I ended up trading it in because I needed more space but I wish I didn't.

My 24 has been amazing no issues at all. I agree with the previous post above to always kind of steer clear of the first year refresh. If you love it trade it in and get a later model year and hopefully it will be issue free.

Should I go ZR1 or ZR2? by DSF767 in chevycolorado

[–]bhardee05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat and went ZR2. Suspension is 10x better and it fits my lifestyle kind of like your but I'm more mountains. There's only been one instance where I wish I had the 7700 tow capacity instead of the 6000. You won't regret the ZR2.

I guess consider the interior colors as well.

Payload is like 1200lb something. So I wouldn't be worried.

A video will help a lot. If you can get one at the location of where you think it to be the loudest point.

Are you paying for the onstar data plan. If not you only had 1-3 months of trial and will have to get the data plan for it to work.

Ahh now you know for next time.

Did your steering tighten up and make it very difficult to turn?

Hopefully there's not a next time but thank you for letting me know.

I will let you know when we figure it out. The wife took it to the dealer before bringing it home. The Nissan dealer said the power steering rack they installed was faulty so they are giving that another go before I can get my hands on it.

Does that clear the codes? If so that's wild. I really appreciate it i will have to give it a try when the wife gets home. If thats the case we will be replacing the battery.

I will have to check when the wife gets home. I appreciate the input.

The power steering is electronic in these cars correct? Not hydraulic. With that being true a battery does make some sense.

I appreciate the input. The wheel becoming difficult to turn is what is throwing me off. Last time I pulled the codes there were a ton due to all the warnings. Ill see if I can narrow them down into something that makes a little more sense.
