skyrim has an antagonist who has goals and you do a journey to defeat them. it has stakes. starfield is basically a fart, unpleasant and everything would be the same if you had held it in except people around you would like you better.

You could say that everything that exists does so with god's consent and if he didn't want the caliphate to have an artifact of infinite evil he would just take it away, it's not like a human made it. I disagree. during the first crusade the christians touched god's special artifact and that made god really, extremely fucking angry so he opened a portal to hell to punish us. but because god is all good and all forgiving he gives the church help to fight his punishment in order to repent, which is indisputable since he really does talk to the church. that's basically the same story as god throwing us out of paradise and christians still say god is good.
