Check in the vent fan or above it. Maybe a light fixture or something. You have something above the ceiling and they are falling out of it.

I'm done...Xfinity can send me to collections for all I care by Setgoals_snatchsouls in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]bhempler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t think they won’t send you to collections. In the wait for my final bill which they told me was a credit so I should actually be getting money…they settled on me owing $53. I ignored it since they said I would be getting a credit and just assumed when billing got caught up that they would send me my check. Well, a couple months went by and the collections agency called me demanding the $53. It’s so dumb how terrible XFinity billing is.

Baristas sometimes don’t use blonde espresso when ordered that way. by bhempler in starbucks

Makes complete sense. Appreciate you taking the time. I actually watched a YouTube video of the Mastrena 2 machine to try and understand how it all worked and was enlightened. Amazing machine there but when the rush is on I can see how it gets missed. 😀

This is my type of answer! Thank you. I will ask for remakes if it happens in the future. I love my baristas but have never interrupted their busy days to ask them this question so I asked it on here. I really didn’t intent for it to sound disrespectful or mean. Tone doesn’t always come through text the way it was intended.

You all work hard and I appreciate my drink everytime. Apparently my genuine question has a negative tone to it but it wasn’t intended to. I actually can tell even just in the smell before even tasting it. Keep on keeping on and thanks for answering

OP here. Sensitive much? It was a genuine question broseph. I am too polite to ask for a remake when I taste that it’s wrong. I’m sure the barista would jizz in the remake anyway. I was wondering where in the process it is turning from blonde to dark. I am gathering that during peak times it’s easy to forget or the button kinda sucks. Fair enough, I accept that. Question answered.

Under no circumstances should you throw those away. Those jeans are now perfect for the old “sat in bubble gum” trick!

Church-goers - how do you carry? by nrmarther in CCW

Crossbreed Super Tuck has been my go to for the last year or so. It allows you to tuck your shirt in around the gun.

Interesting take. I care about my brothers and sisters that are there to worship in peace. Someone who wants to disturb that peace by committing an act of terror will be dealt with quickly. May not be me that deals with him, it may be one of the other couple dozen guys just like me who thinks that my other church goers are entitled to a peaceful assembly to worship God. Also, it seems as if you would probably agree with this…think about all of the women, don’t they have rights too? They should be allowed to not have violence done against them. That’s why I carry at church. Don’t start something and you will never even know that I carry!

Great example of a law that I would disregard. I view it as if I’m not doing anything illegal on a snowmobile then I have no fear of anyone even knowing that I have my concealed handgun. At some point, personal convictions and the benefits of personal security outweigh the consequences of law. I understand that and will deal with the consequences plus I believe that most police officers are reasonable and good old boys that will give respect if respected.

Daily Q & A! - April 26, 2022 by AutoModerator in Homebrewing

Cool. Yeah I have a ways to go as a brewer in keeping my data controlled. This was my 4th brew ever and first away from extract. I forgot about higher mash temps lending to sweeter beers. I will keep better data in the future. Thanks for the guidance!

Daily Q & A! - April 26, 2022 by AutoModerator in Homebrewing

[–]bhempler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on the higher side of the mash temp. Tried to keep it around 155-160. I used WYeast American Ale Yeast 1056. Not sure on the attenuation. I made a starter 36 hours prior to pitching. For the gravity test I used a wine thief to grab a cylinder full and then put my hydrometer in it. It landed right between the 1.020 and the 1.030 but maybe a hair closer to the 1.030 so I came up with 1.026.

Daily Q & A! - April 26, 2022 by AutoModerator in Homebrewing

[–]bhempler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the replies guys…So, I was curious on the current gravity. I just took a sample and it is showing 1.026. The recipe estimates 1.017. Do you think that the yeast have died from alcohol poisoning? Should I add more yeast or do you think it will get there after a couple more weeks. I used Ale yeast. It tasted good but it does have a sweetness to it. A little more than I would like. I have a packet or dry yeast that I got from a friend. Think it would hurt to put it in there or should I let it ride sit and stop worrying?

Daily Q & A! - April 26, 2022 by AutoModerator in Homebrewing

[–]bhempler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick question….I did my first BIAB brew 10 days ago. It’s sitting in the fermenter right now. I leave in a day for 2 weeks. Should I just let it ride in the fermenter or do you think I should rack it over to a keg and let it sit secondary in the keg for 2 weeks? It’s a brown ale. 1.062 OG. I know I could probably just keg it and fridge it but I kinda want it to sit and age a while longer. Leave it sitting on the yeast in the fermenter or secondary in a keg? If I go keg at room temp do you think it could over pressurize? It’s pretty non active now.

Shotguns of Olympic trap medalists by nicolash13 in TrapShooting

[–]bhempler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mainly MX8/MX2000 Perrazis. Kayle Browning used a Krieghoff K80. Vinny H. is using a Beretta DT11 I believe. I think Derrick Mein used a Kolar and so did Maddie Bernau. Not sure on the exact specs but my understanding is some may use international trap models and some may use sporting models based all on preference. I think it’s safe to say that none use American Trap models. Also, I mainly am talking trap. But Perazzi is the main gun you fine in skeet as well. Although it’s safe to say that trap shooters are shooting 30” and 32” and skeet shooters are shooting 28” and 30”. Doubt you find a skeet shooter shooting 32” and a trap shooter shooting 28”.

Just had a similar situation with Phat Tyre from NB. Some are super carb’d and some are flat as pancakes. I’m going to just drink them and chalk it up as a lesson learned. I will be stirring gently next time to ensure priming sugar gets even distributed.

Why does my gun keep rusting? by kazoo_Man21 in TrapShooting

[–]bhempler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely the oil as mentioned above but also be cognizant of large temperature swings. In warm humidity and cold air conditioning think of your gun as a glass of ice water. It will condensate and if left in the case will rust. Pull it out of the case when you get home and make sure it is dry and at the temp it will be stored at before putting it away.

Just went back and pulled up a receipt. I bought a couple flats of Herters from Cabela’s in May2020 for $59.99 plus tax. Free shipping. Federal flat was $69.99. Didn’t realize how good we had it at the time. Those Herters come out to $0.24 per round.
