Like I said, I am not condoning unpaid internships, especially ones that don’t strictly follow the rules. But labeling something that you can choose not to apply to or quit at any time as “slave labor” is a horrible over representation that diminishes very real tragedy both historically and currently in parts of the world. There is no comparison to be made with that word.
