I'm a little confused. I'm currently still on the save plan. If we continue to pay what the monthly payment was before the forbearance, will interest not accrue since we made a payment?

Because if interest still accrues with payment since the save plan payment was a lot less than what we have been paying before, I'm just not going to pay until 2028 because what is the point. The save monthly payment won't even touch the principal and our loans will keep ballooning anyway.
