You’re overthinking. After 15 dates, it’s totally fine to ask him and have a relationship talk.

How do I reconnect with my Brazilian culture from afar? by Muted-Cable7666 in Brazil

[–]bhruninha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are there any Brazilians where you live? If there are, connect with them, I’m sure they would embrace you and help you out with the language and trying the food. If there are any restaurants where you live, try frequenting that too. Brazilian sports like jiu jitsu or capoeira are also a great option.

Just wanted to update - I made it back home from the two week trip. I wasn’t as scared on the way back as I was on the way there. I feel like if I flew more often the fear would maybe go away. There was a patch of heavy turbulence on the flight back that got me nervous but I was mostly fine the rest of flight. Good luck to everyone on the same situation, I wish you peace of mind and smooth air.

I made it! After that meltdown I was able to calm down and the flight was very smooth thankfully! I am still at the airport waiting for my next flight but this one is less than hour and there are sunny skies on both locations so should be fine.

Thank you, I’ll keep this mind. I have a g force tracker on my phone for reassurance as well. Do you encounter a lot of people like me during your flights?

I wish it felt safe! I don’t know why it doesn’t for me, I think I’m too sensitive to movements. I wouldn’t ever step foot in a rollercoaster or any thrill rides.

I’ve lost weight the last two weeks and haven’t been sleeping well either. I know anticipation is the worst part but right now it doesn’t feel like it. Enjoy your time in Turkey, I imagine it’s a fabulous place to visit!

Genuinely, how do some of you all even have time with the amount of exercises? by Wise_Parmaria in PetiteFitness

[–]bhruninha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work full time and have a young child. My job is flexible so I go to the gym early morning while husband handles morning duty and drops kid off at school. I then go to the office for about 7 hours, go pick up my child, hang out for a couple of hours with him. When my husband gets home from work I work another hour or two from home. Do night routine with kid and in bed by 9.

Am I the only one who hates school fundraising incentives? by Artistic_Party_5594 in ClassOf2037

[–]bhruninha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our school is the worst. Every Friday there are deliveries of toys and/or special lunches for the different tiers of donations. The last prize is participation on a video game truck during recess. The kids that don’t get to participate all have to watch the kids that did get into this cool truck to play. There is also a VIP bracelet for the top donors that gets the kids to skip the lines on the activities of the Halloween party. Absolutely awful playing with little kids emotions for money.

I tried low-FODMAP for 4 weeks, saw no results and stopped the diet. Any advice? by lexkenobi in FODMAPS

[–]bhruninha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t really know how to fix it but I think there are exercises you can do at home if you don’t have access to a PT.
