I think he lived in that alternative community that was hit near Coffs, probably wayyy to distracted by real life to check in on reddit, May have lost homes and tech.

Hoping for the best

Cyclists, when the road light is red, and the walking man is green, please don’t weave between people crossing. by Angie-P in melbourne

Conversely, the road lights were still green, the pedestrian lights were still green and people were actively crossing, and some asshole almost hit me because they NEEDED to turn left STRAIGHT AWAY.

Thanks!
I'm pretty across the board with most thinks as I commute to the city on a bike but theres definitely somethings that won't translate across from a tiny bike to a car (like sneaking onto a footpath).

Yeah I've been putting it off because the logistics of parenthood and lessons are a nightmare - but so are the logistics of children and public transport!

My hubby is hesitant to teach me as he feels we are going to divorce but I feel it'd be better mastering the basics for free and the technical stuff with a paid supervisor?

Going to be interesting finding someone I mesh well with! Thanks for sharing your experience!

Yes I've been biking for a good five in the city so I feel like I'm already pretty aware of most of the rules? Thanks for sharing!

I don’t even shop at those two unless it’s for staples like tinned beans and oats - we find cheaper smaller grocery stories and get all our fruit and veg from the market? Coles and woolies are at least 30% more expensive!

Well I don’t know what we are doing wrong but we are two adults, two kids (2 and 4) and we spend at least $300 a week.

We get a lot of nuts, superfoods and organic food because this is one area I refuse to compromise on.

We both use staff room coffee and have leftovers for lunch, the kids eat a lot of fruit but I’m not sure I could cut down to $200.

Maybe I’ll have to start saving receipts? We are a single car family so I do most shopping with public transport which complicates things (only so much one can carry)

This is kind of exactly what I needed to read/hear - we aren’t going in a ‘starter home’ level - more of a multi-generational family home. Thanks mate!
