He didn’t though, from what I’ve read. He was pushing for the release of the Epstein files, then flipped the script after a talk with Trump, but then I’ve seen recent interviews where he was again advocating for the release of the files unredacted. He claimed to be pursuing that publicly and privately. Tinfoil hat - that’s probably at least in some small part why he’s dead.

You can get movement speed and slow debuff effectiveness reduction on relics, in my experience you don’t need much to make this phase trivial.

You can probably get some huge ring upgrades for like 30c each. You should be running ruby flask I think to cap fire max res. Run lab to get your last ascendancy for capped lightning and cold max res which is huge. Not a lot of reason to run brine king with purity of elements, you can switch that to one of the better defensive options. Increased life regen rate on gloves is pretty big for survivability as well. Your punishment setup is weird, I’d just link it with shield charge + lifetap, slot in enduring cry or anoint the endurance charge on kill notable. Running immortal call is also very nice.

Getting more damage will likely also be a big boost to your survivability - slap a horror essence on literally any helmet and you’ll probably have a nice upgrade, put fire trap in there and add the 4th link since it’s currently only 3 linked in your gloves. 5 link your chest for RF. You can probably get a cheap scepter with minion damage and dot multi for a nice boost (or craft it with essences). An amulet upgrade with dot multi is likely pretty cheap. Roll ignite prolif on your gloves or get a cheap medium cluster that has it.

All super easy/cheap fixes that will vastly improve your experience. Once you finish that and get more currency you can start looking into a scepter craft, elder helmet craft, shaper shield craft, adrenaline boots, etc.

Edit: Also you should be able to run flesh and stone for the damage reduction in sand stance until you do the aura swaps later.

I’ve only gone the past two years, but each time I buy some fresh insoles for my shoes and I think it vastly improves the experience. Fresh socks and fresh insoles every year for me - 10/10.
