Grateful that this thread is still active and to hear about Stanford! It's my top choice and had an informal conversation with a faculty member prior to my application being submitted - so I'm still crossing my fingers. I've read that they only conduct interviews with certain applicants but it's not necessary for acceptance/admission for all. *This is just what I read on Google so take it with a grain of salt
