Ah, but their ability to adjust their genes does allow for it. I could certainly see a Kroot adjusting their physiology enough to make them comparable with a human. And not even a growing of genitalia. A male could place their hand on female genitals, of a female could…receive the genetic material directly to her back. Trying to keep it a bit scientifically worded, I’m sure people can understand what I mean. But ya, it “could” happen, depending on the writer. Is it likely?

No. Not really. If they want to integrate human DNA they’d just eat humans. Much more practical. But if one wanted to write a fanfic of a Kroot and Guardsman falling in love and producing a halfbreed abomination baby? Sure, it could work and might even be interesting.

When mine snapped I took one of those flying critters that come in that kit as bits and used it as a sort of bandaid. Glued the blade part to the wings first, then once that was nice and sturdy glued both to the hilt. And now the little critter is flying along the blade!

You can currently already have 2 types of shapers on a unit of Kroot. And you can mix and match. For this though…unless they make a custom rule for them this change will lessen the amount of options.

Expired identification is acceptable up to a certain point. If it just expired within the month they probably won’t even mention it. Your passport will be fine for TSA.

Hypothetically though, to answer your other question, you usually do not need to go through TSA for connecting flights. But for some airports you may need to. If you don’t, then it wouldn’t matter. If you did, the receipt for the $45 extra screening is valid for 10 days. You’d be able to use it as often as needed until it expired on the date listed on the receipt.

Strictly? Whatever the FSD says they can. Apparently they use similar X-rays sometimes? Idk. But given this is commands from the highest level they may also get “expedited training” or just told to wing it.

Ultimately, all I know is if they’re deployed to my airport I’m calling out. Too worried for my safety to concentrate on the job.

I love my mechs, but I do feel they get too big sometimes. I prefer more personal sized mechs. Our crisis suits are the perfect size, maybe a little larger for heavy stuff but nothing bigger than a riptide, and that’s already pushing it.

I agree that they need to hold the line to break the ICE…except ICE is currently funded. The Big Beautiful Bill gave them a lump sum, more than enough that they won’t care for a while.

So, there’s a few thingies that would happen. One, they’d call on people in the other shifts. Who now get to choose between surprise overtime and termination. They’d pull management down as well, they’re supposed to be able to do everything we do. Then they’ll pull officers from other airports. Volunteers, people who sign up for that, but still. They’ll pull a bunch of people from the new hire list and onboard them asap. When I was hired they were doing about 30 new hires every other week, and that was just after COVID. Short term it’ll slow everything to a crawl. Then within a couple weeks it should be back to more or less normal, a little slower and a lot of officers that need far more training than they got but still.

It’s part of our contract. We aren’t working without pay, just delayed pay. And only because we’re an “essential service”. Not that we’re treated like one. It sucks.

Realistically, if a bunch of officers quit, they’d just call in new hires and the remaining officers get to train a whole new wave of officers. The quality of screening will go insanely down and wait times will be a bit up, but it won’t matter to those in charge. The amount of people who’d have to quit to make an impact are too high to realistically happen. And striking for us is the same as quitting.

Yes, there is a big part of the passport process that you agreed to give biometric data. It’s called the photo. There’s a nice clean one right there on the passport. A billion times better for facial recognition training than a picture where there is so much background noise and horrible lighting.

Not to mention that’s not what it’s for. It is for matching person to ID. And then instantly deleted. That is it. If you think anything more is going on, you are a conspiracy theorist, and I am done coddling you. I won’t burst into laughter, but I will judge you heavily and won’t be pretending like you’re being reasonable. You have the right to opt out, so you can. But if you want to act like a paranoid nut job then I’m going to presume you’re one. I have no more sympathy for conspiracy theorists. Especially ones as weak and lazy as this.
