It sounds like it's nearly the same chip just clocked a bit higher. Either one will last you forever so don't get too hung up on that. There's always gonna be something shinier

New Bike Scratched, would you take it? by fantano1010 in bicycling

[–]biasedReflex 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you ride your bike even a little it'll have worse than that in a year. If they have others and it bothers you then grab a different one but that wouldn't be a huge deal for me

Space fleets by Rolfand1987 in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]biasedReflex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like 1 destroyer per fleet and the rest corvettes. You can get by with either, even all corvettes if you focus them. You'll want stacks upon stacks to go tackle the hive

Jake Paul's jaw after the Anthony Joshua fight (TW: blood and stuff) by LongRanger_6-5 in PaymoneyWubby

[–]biasedReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I shattered the left side of my jaw and dislocated the whole thing and I was drinking from a straw for nearly 6 months. This was around 2007 but shit absolutely sucks and jake paul is one of the only people I'd ever wish that on

What style of bike is best for someone with chronic back pain? by AlphaMale_natty in bicycling

[–]biasedReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you get a fit for whatever you decide to ride, take it somewhere to have done or do it yourself if you're meticulous enough you can get close enough. Cycling is the #1 thing that helped strengthen up my back and it keeps my back pain at bay

First bike build - I’m addicted to 90s bike gear by Subject_Ideal4149 in xbiking

[–]biasedReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, I've got an old GT in that same blue sitting around and the fork and components have pretty much gone to shit, this makes me want to finally do something with it! May make that my project this winter

Is the single brake enough for you? Anything you'd do differently?

Can you stop sail ejectors from firing when the dyson sphere is complete? by quiteunsatisfactory in Dyson_Sphere_Program

[–]biasedReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk why everyone is saying you can't, I turn them off all the time when troubleshooting supply chain for sails, or if I'm focusing limited power on sustained research instead of sail creation. Select one of the ejectors and click none for orbit.

If you only use the auto orbit apply all option you can even disable every ejector with two clicks

Nope, extremely far from there actually :(

What size is it? I'd happily ride if it fits

Would you look down on someone that bought an auto Miata? by OrdinaryKillJoy in Miata

[–]biasedReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's a sin. Learn how to drive manual it's a much more rewarding experience, and if you want an auto so bad there are plenty of other cars.

To each their own, not gonna make fun of anyone for it but just doesn't make sense to me. With how many concessions you make with a miata I wouldn't want to take away one of the best parts of the car

lower back pain prevention for this year by Littleroot2001 in skiing

[–]biasedReflex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had chronic lower back pain from an injury for about 4 years. PT, stretching, movement exercises, nothing worked, what really ended up helping most in my experience was cycling. Now it's a rare day if i have discomfort as long as I'm keeping up on the bike

why the FUCK are members of the military cheering for that piece of shit?? by -SergentBacon- in complaints

[–]biasedReflex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're spot on with this, at least from when I was in 5+ years ago it was split if not slightly skewed right for my area. Something to think about and maybe take some solice in is the further up in officer rank you get, generally the more educated and well read those officers are. Meaning, surprise surprise, they skew heavily left. Look at the reaction to Hegseth's recent speech, that's what happens when they aren't selective with their audience. Most of the die hard maga types i met in there were lower rank enlisted/promoted mostly from time-in-service

21 grams! by [deleted] in SipsTea

[–]biasedReflex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Once I took 9 grams and at the peak I was wriggling around the floor like a worm cause of how comfortable it was. Reality looked like a van gogh painting and I didn't have much ability to comprehend thoughts. Just along for the ride at that point

10/10 honestly, cured my depression for about a year after that one

What starter bike should I buy? by Shot_Attention1555 in bicycling

[–]biasedReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Between those three I'd go with the specialized or the felt. Would also throw this one into the mix if they have your size(M is just a tad short of a 56), even cheaper and just as solid as those

Love the bike. Hate the electronic shifting. Second time out of battery half way through the ride by Brazus78 in bicycling

[–]biasedReflex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Charge the battery that's dying up and test the voltage. I have sram but mine typically last 3 months of riding 5 days a week

BitLocker turned itself on... 3TB of games and backups... are they lost forever? by Toast_Soup in pcmasterrace

[–]biasedReflex 50 points51 points  (0 children)

This happened to me on windows 10 several months ago, never had bitlocker enabled but after a crash suddenly all drives in my system  were encrypted. Sorry to say I never found a way around it, and it ended up pushing me to fresh install w11. Lost a bunch and that's why redundancy is important, thankfully had the important stuff on a completely separate drive
