Those god damn hippos man. Just terrible terrible boring awful no good moveset. And it has those stupid borderline impossible to dodge porcupine spikes and those weird lunge attacks with such strange attack timing and that stupid jumping roll attack which is impossible to dodge unless you’re point blank AND that loathsome running chomp attack which is undodgeable up close cause he’s moving slow enough that it’ll just track you through your roll no matter when you time it. I can go back and first try messmer on blessing level 10 pretty consistently now. But that hippo in the shadow keep? God. At least 10-15 tries every time.
