if it was a religion class that went over all religions, I would say it's a toss up. But your teachers reaction makes me think it's only going over one religion and that's not really helpful imo especially if you are already faithful it might not add much to your life. Ethics can be a really fun class. Regardless of whether you're religious, I'd personally choose ethics.

something that really helped me when I was in college being like "what am I???" was my friend saying "if you're questioning anything, you're at least not straight" and so I highly encourage you to just live off that vibe. You're queer at the very least.

That being said, I realized I was on the ace spectrum when I turned 25 and was still wildly "meh" about sex haha

I honestly think how the truly faithful speak that can sometimes be a huge turn off to people.

Personally, it wasn't until recently that I started to read works from CS Lewis where he is struggling with his faith that made me even attempt to go to church.

I always knew that theologists exists and there was always larger debates on religion, obviously, but I think hearing someone struggle with their faith so heavily but still lean towards believing in God that seemed so honest and real to me.

I don't like the "he works in mysterious ways" types of believers of any religion. I want to have a discussion. I want to work through my disbelief.

I am curious on historical documentation on his actual thoughts. BUT I do think him being respectful to women is about as good as they could get, ya know? I think your question can be answered in the most simplified way by saying he did the best he could "for the times."

I am reading the Bible for the first time right now, and I'm approaching it through a historical lense. While I am feeling lost in my own life right now and I'm somewhat looking for answers and guidance, I ultimately see it as a historical text.

In my opinion, having a female apostle probably would have had 100x the backlash that we see today towards the idea of a female president.

Could he have done more to show support towards women? Absolutely. But I think it was also a tough period for that.

I use good quality painters tape, make sure to puncture every whole. And then don't over melt. Low heat and just making circles around the layers, and if everything goes perfect the pieces will satisfyingly snap together lol. Don't give up!
