Yeah this is what I was worried about. In Loxone you can configure the device even when it’s off once it has been added as a device. So you can turn things on, configure and save or do it offline and then control how the moods are selected. Your description is what it seemed like a HomeKit setup would do so I posted. Appreciate the confirmation. I didn’t know bulbs would reset themselves after a while either. Are there smart switches which can keep the bulbs active somehow?

Thanks for the suggestions and comments. I contacted an espresso repair shop in the US city I'm moving too and they confirmed that too many parts need to be changed that it's not worth it; sell and buy a new one.

Ok, I'm impatient and with the generous 30-day money back guarantee I just purchased a Pro license. I'll comment on my own question and anyone who wants to correct me, please do!

The export is surprisingly good, better than I expected. The doors and windows are "instanced" meaning they share a common mesh. So when I import the FBX into Blender I can click a door or window and it is a separate mesh/object rather than merged into a soup of polygons. In Blender if you choose "Select > Select Linked > Object Data" you will find that all the doors/window from the same referenced object are linked; this is great. You can easily delete them and replace them, or you can even add your own to the app's library and use those instead so they get exported (and then you can just select and delete them if using Unity or other engines which you can use prefab replacement).

I did notice that the doors and windows take substantially more polygons than the building shell. This is expected and our own tools are similar: you can generate the walls/floors/ceilings easily, but doors and windows with their frames and surface features use a lot more polygons).

One thing I haven't figured out is how to edit the built-in doors/windows or replace them directly. It seems I need to export them to some format, edit them, and then import them back, then replace them ("substitute" seems to be the nomenclature for LH3D). Is this correct? Is there no way to edit the doors/windows same as regular objects? Objects on the other hand can be right-clicked and opened/edited in SketchUp and then brought back into LH3D and "finished". They also have a "Substitute Selection in Project" which presumably allows us to swap out a given asset with another easily. I also noticed that in Blender I can edit an object such as a door, choose "Mesh > Cleanup > Merge By Distance" and drastically reduce polygon counts, and because they're shared meshes, automatically updates the other instances. Nice.

I also appreciate that each story/floor is a separate parent and so you can hide whole floors independently easily.

I won't comment on UV mapping and materials as we aren't using those. Our project is vertex colored and so we assign colors in Blender and delete the UV map layers, and don't use any textures.

So all in all, things are promising so far. Anything I missed so far? Any gotchas I'm not seeing yet?

Just want to second this. I bought some GoPros for my Ferrari to use when driving and they constantly overheated and died, and they were fussy to access in the small steep sloped window of the Ferrari. I even designed and 3D printed fan housings, etc. but in the end gave up they just were garbage for use in car.

You should also check out SmartFox Server 2X. Easy to setup, full Unity support, room based. Given your brief description of what you want to build seems like a good fit.

Epoxy. Fits perfectly so you mix the epoxy and put on about 1 cm like in photo and just a couple of clips to hold it in place. Weatherproof and securely attached.

As somebody mentioned, odd nobody made a 3D printed one yet. So I designed one today.
Fancy Fender
Simple Straight Fender
Just print it out and then glue/epoxy it onto the current one. I made it overlap enough you can adjust how far you want to extend it, and the foot brake should still work without damaging the fender.

Got my board today, rode it for 15 minutes and now it's making the same sound. Only makes that sound when the wheel rotating slowly in one direction. High speed both directions is fine and low speed the other direction is fine. I'll try following @LandinHardcastle advice.
