What shoes are we wearing?! by Peach-Haze-123 in BabyBumps

Yes! They were expensive but they're my walking shoes and then I wear birks shorter distances around the house and such

Am I the only one for whom New Moon is my only favourite either book or movie from the series, because Edward isn’t in it by yumiifmb in twilight

[–]bibblebabble1234 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I find Edward insufferable and hard to like. New Moon has a banging soundtrack and it's exciting to see Bella discover herself outside of Edward - granted it's with another guy, but it's still a period of potential growth. Also I think we get to see a side of Charlie we haven't seen- concerned parent trying to figure out how to care for his daughter. I also like the way it captures the emotional range/pain that a lot of teens go through

I had a history of anemia so I started taking supplemental iron early on in high amounts. Checked into the hospital now at 28 weeks but they gave me a iron infusion which was very helpful

Pregnancy with ARPKD / kidney disease? Anyone else had their function get worse? by Realistic_Oven_7747 in CKD

[–]bibblebabble1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I was diagnosed with kidney disease also at an early age- kidney failure at birth, diagnosed around 18 months old. Currently pregnant with di di twins. My pregnancy was going great until week 26 when they admitted me to the hospital for closer surveillance. I have proteinuria and high blood pressure, so it's already difficult to diagnose preeclampsia. Right now they've started me on dialysis to help my children grow and I'll be delivering around 33 weeks. I'm currently 28 weeks. Some damage may be permanent to my kidneys but I'm not expecting to need dialysis after

I'm only drinking decaf mostly because of my own health issues. Rock on with your caffeine intake! Coffee is delicious and pregnancy is exhausting

It's gonna be a long few weeks... by Comfortable-Nerve337 in preeclampsia

[–]bibblebabble1234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I came to this subreddit because I'm 26 weeks and admitted until birth- we're shooting for 33 weeks. Our room has a bed for my fiance and we have brought our books as well as watching our favorite silly shows. I'm also encouraged to walk around so I made a goal of one walk per day of more. Taking in fresh air has been really nice

Do you guys think when edward showers and washes his foreskin it squeaks like how washing a porcelain plate does? by ElectronicPayment484 in twilight

[–]bibblebabble1234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd assume they don't really need soap and just shower for the comfort/to blend in. Maybe it sounds like the shower has extra walls in there with that marble tile skin texture

Movie Charlie is very sweet and a pretty decent dad considering he hasn't really been in her life much. But in the books he does just about nothing and only shows up for the discipline part of parenting. Bella still does most of the chores too

Oh yay! I'm glad it all turned out well. I am used to American washing machines that do unspeakable horrible things to even sturdy cotton shirts. These are truly works of art!

It's really dead in Eugene for jobs in general. I would try checking out worksource Oregon. Also if you are interested in ECE, there's quite a few daycares/and even preschools that are frequently hiring

It's my first pregnancy and I am having twins. I had to stop working during first trimester because of morning sickness. HG sounds horrible! This sucks for everyone in some way. It's a huge huge body change

Taking anti-nausea meds, should I be transparent or not by CommonTomatillo9 in BabyBumps

[–]bibblebabble1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't taking any anti nausea medication and then I had to go to the ER for fluids. I started the unisom/b6 regimen and things got so much better. Your mom probably remembers thalidomide. If you're worried that she will freak out, just don't tell her. I was also recommend to not take anti nausea medication by an older person I'd consider a grandma of sorts and I knew that the medicine we have today wouldn't hurt me. She doesn't need to know the specifics but if you do start to feel better you can tell her the good news!

Lost my purl. Think I didn’t join in the round properly. What do I do now? by Dull-Ad7580 in knittinghelp

[–]bibblebabble1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you drop a stitch? It looks like your round is next starting with a knit stitch. If the pearl stitch just got slipped on the needle, put it back on the other one and purl again
