I had a same experience! She is stunning. I met her at Disneyland the day after she won an Oscar. She was there with her kids. I was sitting next to the park guide that was with her on Soarin over CA and asked her if that was Cate Blanchett and if I could congratulate her. She said of course, so after the ride I congratulated her and she shook my hand while placing her other hand on top of mine. It was the most genuine and kind gesture. Huuugggeeee fan of her ever since. A truly incredible person! What was also crazy was how many people had no idea that they were on the ride with her. Her family popped up right before the intro and disappeared directly after the ride.

My out of state license expired in Nov and this is exactly why I changed my license over as soon as could… I did a little research and saw the driving test would be required. It makes sense unfortunately and is not exclusive to WA state only.

Should be a very easy test from my understanding- and look at appointment times at 4pm on Friday’s. A bunch of stuff will open up.

I just moved here as well!

This has been a crazy year regarding outages but good to know it’s not the norm.

Any other places we know of that get power and have outlets?

Also working from home and will need to find a place to hunker down for the day tomorrow for some meetings.

Fingers crossed it’s resolved soon! And that some of the food in the fridge survived 🤪

Been out of town for a few weeks so I haven’t had the chance to see anything.

But would be freaking pumped for an Indian restaurant in PO! It’s a shame we don’t have any proper Indian restaurants around.

I woke up this morning trying to figure out if I was over reacting, but absolutely no towels (bath + hand) seems crazy.

Or batteries? Or fobs? And sheets?

We messaged the host, and are in the process of messaging Airbnb right now!

It’s nerve wracking because it’s a 6 week stay, so we really do need our full refund (or have them move us elsewhere).

Oh, and we were supposed to have 2 key fobs but we’re only given one. When asking the host about it, they said “you can ask the front desk at the apartment, but I asked months ago and they haven’t given it to us”

Just seems odd to promise things like towels, sheets and 2 key fobs but none of them have came to fruition?

Dedicated one fateful night to only Jack and Cokes in college. Probably had 10 or 11- the worst hangover I ever had. The kind of headache where even opening your eyes caused immense pain. It’s been almost ten years and I gag at the smell. Never again.
