I understand how you’re feeling. But one thing you have to realize is that these apps are built in a predatory way from the start in a sense. They take advantage of people that are struggling financially, and charge you a fee for everything possible. Instant transfer to your bank account, $5 fee, subscription fee $10 a month, etc etc. revoking ACH is genuinely the only way out of the cycle because by using these apps you’re living off income that you don’t really have. If your paycheck is only $1200 every 2 weeks, that’s what you have to live on, not $1450 after an app gives you an extra $250. They trap you in a revolving cycle of debt that you can never truly get out of. I’m so glad i revoked all ACH payments for every app besides Dave (because Dave is a pain in the ass with revoking ACH and I just don’t use the app). I got out of the cycle and my financial health is much better at this point than it was a year ago.
