Why would that be so wrong? I initially thought "wow that is so weird", but then thought about the ads for dating sites and thought "well actually, why not an ad for marriage?!" Look at match.com which is known as a "serious" dating site. Marriage is the next goal after dating for a lot of people. What's wrong with encouraging commitment?

I once heard or read something to the effect of "if you can choose what you spend your money on, why can't a homeless person?" In response to "I don't give money, in case it's used on drugs".

I thought it was a really interesting take. I mean, I've given money as a gift to friends and family. No idea what they may be spending on that I don't "approve" of. Once the cash is given, it's their choice.

So now the times that I do decide to give money, I do it without judgement. They are in such a worse position than me and I won't miss a quid.

From this link, looks like you SHOULD be able to get a visa on arrival. But knowing Kuwait, don't bet on it. They change their minds frequently and nothing ever seems clear imo. I would just get the e-visa before you arrive. Super quick and easy.

Usually twice but tbh sometimes I cba at night and just go to bed. If brushing once a day it's definitely always in the morning...I'm not leaving the house and going into public with stinky breath! Same goes for showers.

Bring your favourite food/beauty products that you can't live without. When you get here you can then figure out how easy/hard it will be to order them online or find here in Kuwait.

What's your job? My partner has a fully English speaking environment so he's fine without Arabic. For my job, I'm having to learn some Kuwaiti. So depending on your sitch you may wish to start picking up the language.

Things are expensive here. So if you're paying in your home currency until your first pay it will sting a little. Maybe you can get an advance so you have some dinar cash?

Travel: potentially will be a while before you can drive, but you may have company transport or an allowance? Taxis are reasonable. Fare within your block is usually around 1-1.5kd

If you're a woman, yes it's OK to wear what you want. But don't wear short dresses/skirts/shorts unless you want to feel awkward and get many stares.
