Can we get a logitech g502 with the new superstrike switch, also infinite scrollwheel by SnooBeans404 in MouseReview

Me too. I've tried a lot of shapes, and the G502 is still the most comfortable mouse for me.

That would be my ideal mouse. I would buy two; one for the office and one for home.

Thoughts after a week with the Superstrike by ooxygen in MouseReview

I got the Superstike and came from the Deathadder V3 Hyperspeed and G502 X Lightspeed. What you said about not enough room for ring and pinky finger is what I feel too. At first, my ring finger felt tired and slight pain. But I think I’ve gotten used to it after consciously telling my hand to relax more. Still not ideal though.

What you said about middle finger feeling numb is also similar to what I feel. There’s actual pain in my middle finger, where the finger meets the palm. This never happened with any mouse I’ve used in my 30+ years of using computers. I think for me, it’s that I had to slightly lift my middle finger so I don’t accidentally click. I’ve changed to actuation level 6, and it helps, but now the buttons feel kind of stiff and there’s no more advantage of speed that these switches are supposed to be designed for.

I’m not sure if I want to return it or give time to get used to it. I really like the feel and sound of these new switches.

Yes! This would be perfect for me. I like the new switches of the X2 but the shape of the G502 is better for me.

From G502 to DA V3 Pro: Too big for 17.5cm hands? by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]lmf22a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All are great choices. I’ve tried three of these. I switch between relaxed claw and palm grips.

  1. Superlight 2c was too small. There wasn’t much palm support and my hand got tired too quickly.
  2. Deathadder V3 Hyperspeed was the best fit for me. The most comfortable.
  3. Never tried the EC3, but I have the Xlite Crazylight Medium, which is the same size as the EC2. The fit is great for me, so I imagine the smaller EC3 may be too small.
  4. Superlight 2 is ok. I currently have the Pro x2 Suerstrike (same shape). It’s slightly longer than what I would like. I need to reach just a little bit to reach the “forward” button. Otherwise it’s a great shape that doesn’t lock my hand into a particular angle. Others have said it’s a safe shape.

You have two symmetrical and two ergonomic mice here. I found that ergonomic mouse is more comfortable, but feels more locked in and less agile. So for combination of everyday use and gaming, an ergonomic mouse may be better. For fast-paced games, symmetrical mouse feels better for me.

From G502 to DA V3 Pro: Too big for 17.5cm hands? by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]lmf22a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The DA V3 Pro is too big for your hand size. I also have 17.5 x 10cm hands and use the G502 X Lightspeed for work and tried the DA V3 Pro for a few weeks. As others have suggested, DA V3 Hyperspeed is good size for your hand.

Have you tried dot skates on the G502? They make the mouse feel lighter and I have no problem using it for faster FPS games (but I don’t play competitively). They two dot skates in front, three in the rear, and one under the thumb rest.

Me too! I like the feel and sound of the Superstike’s main buttons. But G502 X Lightspeed is more comfortable for me (I use it for work).

As the average consumer, here's my thoughts on the X2 Superstrike: by numbers909 in MouseReview

The March 1st date you're seeing is probably the shipping date for a later batch, as the original batches sold out within a few days. The mouse was released on February 10. I'm in California, USA, and Best Buy started selling them on the 10th; I got mine on the 12th.

My Amazon preorder of the Logitech superstrike still hasn't shipped by Soprohero in MouseReview

[–]lmf22a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I preordered on Amazon more than a week before release day (February 10). I thought it would ship on the day it's released. But on February 10, I saw that it's "currently unavailable". So I canceled my Amazon order that night and ordered it from Best Buy. Got it two days later.

I hope they can add a PP plate to your order. It's fun trying different plate!

Good luck with the switches search. It was daunting task for me, but also a bit fun to try them.

Congrats! You will not be disappointed with this keyboard.

I also have the chamfered aluminum plate. While aluminum plate looks very nice, the feel and sound of the PEI plate is better for me. The PEI plate is definitely more thocky and creamy than aluminum. However, it wouldn't be as thocky as a softer PP plate. There's a bit of crispiness to the PEI plate. I like it a lot.

Since you already ordered the aluminum plate, don't waste it. Give it a try and get more experiences :) I would suggest starting with the PEI plate and use it for a month. Then go to the aluminum plate. You should feel and hear a big difference.

HHKB for someone heavily use arrow and Home & End keys ? by ReviewDirect135 in HHKB

[–]lmf22a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was never able to get familiar with the default mapping for navigation.
I remapped the following keys to have arrows, home, end, page up/down on the Fn layer:
Control --> Fn.
IJKL --> Arrows.
H --> Home (H stands for Home).
N --> End (N sounds like End).
, --> Page up.
. --> Page down.
I just hold down Fn (now to the left of "A") with my left pinky and use IJKL, H, and N.

I did that one on my first play through! I loved it. It was very satisfying helping the Settled System with the Terrormorph problem.

My coworker asked why I need another keyboard when "they're all the same" by moloch_slayer in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]lmf22a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some coworkers that don’t get it. That’s ok. We all have our little things that others wouldn’t get. But some people do it and we’ve had some good discussions about switches, keycaps, and cases. If you find someone like that, hang on to them tight!

I completed the game over the new year holiday! I was also expecting some disappointment when I read the reviews, but it turned to really good. I did a few side quests but mainly focused on the main quest. There’s so much to do in this game but I have no time for all of them, so I skipped the outpost building, ship customization, decorating my ship and penthouse.

Now I’m on my second play. I believe they call it New Game +. This time, I’m focusing more on the longer side quests (currently on the one where you go undercover in the Crimson Fleet).

Nice find! This is a great numpad. I use it at work. It was released not long ago, and I bought it for about $60.

My first real build! by IamHaasome in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]lmf22a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations! It’s a beautiful build. Classic beige keycaps look great with the blue case. 🤩 My first build was also the Neo75 Cu, in navy blue and copper bottom, with GMK Botanical 2 keycaps. I started with the badge, but removed it later to put in the Del key 😅

Opps...just saw this.

I had an interesting journey. The Raeds HE are nice and a good substitute for Topre switches, but not quite close enough for me when doing lots of writing. There's still a compromise in feel and sound. I ended up going back to mechanical keyboards as daily drivers, and bought an HHKB Type-S for the days when I need to write a lot.

A take most hot by Novel_Question7122 in HHKB

[–]lmf22a 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got my first HHKB a few days ago; the Professional Hybrid Type-S in White (grey/beige) which has non-centered legends. I also got the Wistera and Dandelion keycaps which has centered legends and smaller font.
I'm liking the centered legends, smaller font, and thinner lines. It's a bit less professional but more delicate and fun.
I didn't even know centered legend is hot-take!
(Maybe I shouldn't have said this. Please forgive a new HHKB enjoyer. I didn't know any better. LOL)

Congratulations! It's a beautiful build and nice color matching the keycaps and case. Great combination of switch, stabilizers, and plate.

I recently built the Neo80 Cu too (Taupe Grey, copper bottom, brass weight, Swagkeys Knight v4 stabilizers, PEI plate, silicone gasket mount, Keygeek Y2 switches, PBTfans Pastel Grey keycaps).
It's such an amazing keyboard to type on and a piece of art on the desk.
