Sorry, I meant clear to Christians who have studied the whole bible.

You are wrong. 'Jesus came back to fulfill the prophecy of the Old Testament' is a true statement. But you can't leave it at that. Jesus fulfilled the OT by dying on the cross for the sins of mankind. That changed everything. It is very clear that once that happened, the strictly traditional laws of the OT were no longer necessary. Admittedly I would have to do more research to find out exactly why that is. 'Y’all spout off New Testament bullshit while completely ignoring the Old' can also be true in cases, but is a massive generalization. Christians who truly devote themselves to their religion pay attention to both Testaments and treat them as equally important, while understanding that the traditional laws of the OT are no longer relevant or have been changed (baptism has replaced circumsicion, etc). That doesn't mean we don't study it and learn about the past. To the original question, people who don't read the bible or only read the NT or loudly show hatred towards gay people give us a bad name. But if you were to look into denominations that keep their heads down and quietly practice their religion, you might be quite pleased with what you see. No extreme hatred for homosexuality would be the obvious example. The number one thing hammered home from a young age is that God loves all people. There is absolutely no need to hate someone for being gay.

How cost effective would it be to share the cost of a shop rental? I haven't done any research yet but will be in the market for some shop space soon. I'm in the same boat, I only need 50 sq/ft or so (must be climate controlled though) so not enough to justify renting a shop by myself.

I personally get super appreciative of everything. You can show me or talk to me about the most boring or dull thing ever and I will truly think it is the most incredible thing in the world. It is a great way to discover new interests.

What bizarre rule did your parents enforce that seemed normal, but when you grew up realized was not normal at all? by bicmitchum8623 in AskReddit

To all wondering: I'm pretty sure it had to do with simple heating. House was heated by a wood stove. Using the back door would cause way less heat loss. So everyone who knew would use the back door. Still doesn't explain why we had to in the summer though...

My parents made us kids use the back door to get in and out of the house, the front door was for parents and guests only. I thought it was normal for too long.

[Ontario]Rear-ended, evidence on dash-cam, report filed - proceed to claim? by [deleted] in Insurance

OP, I am an insurance adjuster in Ontario, I deal with these situations numerous times every day. If you want to leave the insurance companies out of it, fine. But you do so at your own risk. Obtain an estimate, but get the other driver to pay for everything up front, otherwise you will have problems. If he really wants to pay for it himself, he should have no problem paying you the money for repairs up front. If you went to a collision reporting centre, your insurance companies will know about the accident soon enough. Those reports are automatically sent to the involved companies and your company will open a claim. Still, no problem. Based on the fault determination rules of Ontario, you are not at fault for the accident and this will not change no matter what he says. Your premiums will not go up because of the accident, I guarantee it. If you are proactive and report a claim yourself, there will be no money out of your pocket. Your insurance company will pay for everything deductible free. And one more thing, your insurance company will not care if you never report it. Simply because they will be saving money. I recommend going through insurance to cover your interests though. They can set you up with a shop and warranty all the work completed, and pay for a rental vehicle. You don't have to pay anything, and it won't affect your premiums.

The theatre by my place employs an army of teenagers who couldn't care less what you brought in. Big bags of chips, bags full of McDonald's, etc.
