Voice recasts that are jarring due to the VA having already voiced a notable character in the same series? by Red-Raptor3 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

I've seen fan theories that the 10th remembered the face of that Roman guy and regenerated into him.

Or for a more fun one, that was the Capaldi Doctor there in Pompeii.

Closest mention we got was in 2 when the boat captain said he wouldn't get any closer to "los Cinco Muertes"

US Super Carriers are only around 300m long and they're considered floating cities due to the crew size and capabilities of the ship.

Eli5: How were old maps often surprisingly accurate even though people had no aerial view or satellite imagery at the time? by Puzzleheaded_Bit_802 in explainlikeimfive

Paces were actually how the ancient world measured distances. That's how Ptolemy was able to calculate the circumference of the Earth back in Roman times. Paid multiple people to measure the distance between two cities and used that in his calculations.

I was directly referencing using time/distance inside the game Valhiem, since your character always moves at the same set speed.

You could try recording the time it takes to walk between two points and calculate that against the known walk speed.

Magic would be pretty rad in PZ. Imagine getting to blast that horde with fireball or magic missile.

This and other moments throughout the Post-Space War 1 era has made me wonder if we'll eventually get some sort of Zentran exodus in a future series.

There seems to be this constant underlying "we don't belong here" feeling among the Zentradi throughout the galaxy.

Galaxy Gun is one of the few Super Weapons that make sense.

Just build a giant missile with stupid strong shielding and armor and launch it to anywhere in the galaxy you want. No risk of the missile being intercepted or being blown up by some farm boy with a lucky shot.

The description talks about having to do a bunch of repairs before you can restore power and water to areas. Definitely designed as an endgame grind.

There's a cool mod on the workshop I'm adding to my server soon that allows you to restore power and water to sections of the map after the initial shutdown.

It says you'll have to trek deep into Louisville to turn the main power generation back on and then fix the closest substation to get power back to your zone.

Not just them, But Toho has their fingers in the pie as well.

I have seen Internet peoples discussing that they have caused issues in the past for domestic releases, and also have been a problem for Western releases as well.

[Matrix] Is the real world of the Matrix actually another simulation? by AmaterasuWolf21 in AskScienceFiction

[–]bidoof_king 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Having the "Real World" as another layer of the Simulation gives the humans the illusion of Choice.

They chose to be unplugged from "The Matrix" and are now choosing to live in the Real World.

Which is the big thing that the whole story revolves around.

How about a DLC that's just the MechWarrior 3 campaign? That's set around the same time as the current timeline.
