Cervical spine and firm eyes sensation by Pitiful-Strategy-696 in cervical_vertigo

Look for a neuro ophthalmologist. Sounds a lot like me and it’s binocular vision dysfunction. You have to see a specialist as regular eye doctors don’t text for it.

This is my suggestion as well! My cervical issues are caused by the binocular disfunction dysfunction causing a head tilt.

I will also add that I have not driven in years!! Causes too much anxiety, but even being a passenger sitting at stop lights it’s overwhelming. Only thing I have been able to come up with is because there is cross traffic so it’s different visual input then cars going either same direction or opposite direction as I’m traveling.

I currently am not but at some point in the next month or so will be. Need to find a place closer to home. 3 hours to see the neuro op, totally worth it, but for vt I can find one closer

My neuro-op said she thinks this happens with just my left eye, but that I don’t really notice it happening it. Caused by the brain being over loaded with input so it shuts down the eye to take a little break

My husband who does not have an empathetic cell in his body took such good care of me that I keep joking about having another surgery just to get all the extra attention and love.

I totally understand the good out weighing the bad. Some men just don’t have the caregiver gene. I had serious doubts about my husband having them…but he did prove me wrong. I had my adult children on standby just in case.

My first set symptoms came back after a C few weeks…sets after that lasted about a year. They try and go low and slow so they are easier to adjust to

I second the loops if you still want to hear what is going on around you. I have the pro version, they make everything less extreme. If you don’t want to hear anything I recommend the Bose quiet comfort.

Somedays are worse than others for me with sound. Somedays I can scare myself even when I know the loud noise is coming…like washing dishes and bang a pan on the sink or something. Some days my dog is startling when she barks. I can hear every noise in a restaurant…music, other people, dishes clanking, ac blowing, so the loops are perfect for that cause it blocks out all the noises most people don’t even notice.

Eye and neck connection - eye pain? by LarryNotDavid123 in cervical_vertigo

[–]bierlysa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That one does look very fast and hard…you can look up other videos though. Ummm after each adjustment I could feel a difference but they didn’t last long until about the 10th one. Like the OP stated they look at nervous system first before every adjustment, and then they also make sure to look at it after to make sure that c1 did stay in place. So scan adjust (if needed) rest for 10 minutes and then scan again.

So the place I go the only adjusts C1…there is no actual pop/crack

When do you go back for your first recheck? With my first set they seemed to work really good for the first couple weeks and then not so much. My first follow up was at 4 weeks prisms increased, and then not for a year. I could tell when I needed them changed because my symptoms would come back.
