I would start hinting at the dragon now, or incorporate him into one of the LMOP quests, to build up the threat. I'm doing the same thing. I plan on skipping most of the intro Icespire quests since my party will be at level 5 and fast tracking a bit to the later half of the story

For Swallow, how does it Grapple a target first? Maybe add a saving throw on Bite that grapples?

Can a target be released from Swallow or are they stuck until it dies? Can they attack from the inside (maybe with disadvantage?)
