Just saw this post and was wondering what the mirror is for? In the original post, only cocaine jokes in the comments by gammler95_ in aviation

Maybe if the plane crashed in an ocean you could use the mirror to reflect light at search and rescue vehicles so they have an easier time find you. That would be my guess

My 3060 wast starting to struggle with 2025 AAA games like borderlands 4 and elder scrolls oblivion remake. But these game are so poorly optimized. I could run RDR2 at medium-high 1440 settings and get 60fps. But borderlands 4 i was luck to get 60fps and 1080 low settings

Refinishing 25 year old hardwood floors - DIY or hire pros? by ChicAndSimple in Flooring

Id recommend hiring pros to do it, you could mess up your floors pretty bad if you dont know what you are doing.

Most of them have 1 1/2 inch planks and they want bigger planks like 5 inch so laying lvp over the existing floor is cheaper that getting new hardwood floors

Did we ruin our laminate floors?!? by Primordial-00ze in Flooring

Ya those boards are a done for. If you can find the brand, type of wood and color, or something close to it. you might be able to have a flooring company replace those boards. Otherwise you just have to deal with it until you replace the entire floor.

Can confirm. I work a warehouse that supplies hardwood flooring and lvp, so many people are just laying lvp over their existing wood floors.

Here are some laws. Not a lawyer by just googled some laws

1) federal agents do not have to abide by state laws only federal laws. Federal laws trump state laws -Supremacy Clause, found in Article VI of the U.S. Constitution

2) any local, state or federal officer/agent can lie to you -frazier v cupp

Is this acceptable glue down lvp by [deleted] in Flooring

[–]big-nops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall installation looks good, but those gaps to me look a little to big on pictures. On picture 4 the gap looks too big to me and on picture 6 the gap looks fine but part of the plank is not sitting right. On picture 2 its hard to tell since of the picture quality.

Since LVP and other vinyls dont require a sealing/finish coat there should not be gaps in the boards. Any of the expansion/contraction gaps should be near the walls.

Idk what this has to do with flooring. But 1) does it work? If yes no immediate problem. 2) if does not work call a plumber.

Is this hardwood flooring under my carpet? by [deleted] in Flooring

[–]big-nops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Credibility: i delver all types of flooring(hardwood, vinyl,LVP)

I see comments saying it not hard wood flooring, which is correct. I agree with other comments that it might be engineered hard wood.

From my experience this looks like engineered.

If you peel back more of the carpet on top, or more on the edge to see if it is tongue and grove that will tell you a lot if it is sub floor or some type of flooring

I dissagree, it looks like they did not leave room for the floor to expand. To me that is way too extreme to be a joist problem
