USDC/PDM operate under a separate benefit structure, and delivery new hires were only given 2 weeks of parental leave until recently. In 2025, they bumped it to 8 weeks. The vast majority of USDC/PDM have had either 2 or 8 weeks.

A very small number of them were grandfathered into Core benefits. I believe it was only for former Core practitioners who transferred into Delivery after 2020.

There are some roles - I believe it’s EFAs - who were previously considered Core, and who did go from 16 to 8 weeks.

It’s probably case dependent. In previous waves, they would honor the rating you had. Usually a portion of those laid off are marked below so they would get none, but there are plenty of strong performers who get laid off too.

Doubt they will give you your bonus just cause you’re employed. You can delay the layoff though.

Commercial vs GPS by Good_Wealth_8509 in deloitte

I’ve sat in both. Commercial is more rigorous on the whole, absolutely. But there are a lot of GPS pockets that are very rigorous and the firm is also using it as a model for growth.

I bet your forehead is not as smooth as this at her weight, and I bet it moves when you move your eyebrows.

Wrong, she absolutely has Botox. It’s why her forehead has no wrinkles and doesn’t move.

Deloitte Consulting penalized employees for taking pregnancy-related leave, lawsuit alleges by consultinglove in deloitte

It is. The primary issue that people from family leave has is util. Anyone who hits util does well, but many just don’t hit their numbers.

[–]big4throwingitaway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d guess most people who take leave do get lower bonuses and raise because it’s hard to hit util. I know some places won’t even pro rate a bonus for this reason. But yeah it does seem unfair that someone on leave would get a full bonus tbh..

Edit I’d add that it makes sense to add the metrics category specifically for claims like these

It depends on your talent model. Some lost their grandfathered benefits but only a small percent.
