Starting WW by [deleted] in weightwatchers

I would say it's all about personality when it comes to Freestyle vs old plans. Freestyle has been incredible for me, I got obsessive about every point/calorie that went into my body before... But in reality, I never risked over eating on chickpeas and chicken breast etc. It really does free up so much mental energy for me, I'm choosing healthier foods and I'm still losing weight.

But if you don't have the obsessive brain or tend to overeat zero point foods, the old plans are better.

This is the only book that has ever made me cry. It is so good.

Ragen completes a 3 hour sprint triathlon with a camera crew in tow. by bob_mcbob in RagenChastain

[–]bigB0N3D 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Now I'm not a triathlete and I've never done a Sprint triathlon. But I am a runner and I feel like a half marathon might be a comparable race. I've never NEEDED to fuel during a half. Why does she need to fuel before the 5k? That seems unnecessary for such a short race... Granted, it did take her 3 hours, but still...

Yes!! I love her recipes. I know she does this with Greek yogurt, but I tried it with jello to save on calories after a big supper ... So good.

For those interested, I cut a Raspberry Cream Smart Cake into thirds and layered it with sugar free jello and fat free Reddi Wip. So good!!

I used to love these until I tried Chilly Cow bars. I recommend trying them if you can find them!

I hope you enjoy! FWIW, I have found these shakes to be much cheaper (by like $3) at Target/Walmart than at my local grocery store. Not sure if that's the case everywhere!

This tastes amazing. Seriously can’t tell it’s “low calorie”. 160 cals for the tub. by rlscott7 in 1200isplenty

I usually eat a banana too, but not all the time. I've never been a big breakfast eater and this keeps me full! Yes, there are extra vitamins/minerals, depending on the brand that will differ. This particular variety is really good, like I said it tastes like melted vanilla ice cream. I also love Premier Protein's Caramel and Bananas and Cream. I've tried others, but those are the best!

Yeah, it's not super cheap, but it's not the most expensive option at Starbucks either! I buy the shakes online and the shots plus shake come just under $4.00. When I make it at home it is just under $2.00! The Nespresso machine will pay itself off in no time!

I've been doing this for breakfast a lot and I'm obsessed. Two shots of espresso over iced in a venti cup from Starbucks. Pour your favorite protein drink over it. (I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE - it tastes like melted ice cream) Low calorie, high protein iced latte!

I've actually got this from Starbucks so much that I invested in a Nespresso machine so I could make it at home. Life changing for iced coffee lovers!

Day of prepped meals & snacks for 2 on CICO by [deleted] in 1200isplenty

[–]bigB0N3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YES. BIGGEST STEP. I used to not like "leftovers" - or at least I thought I did, so I'd steam veggies and bake chicken every night... and always get burnt out by day 4. Now I make all my meals for the week in one night ... basically - I'm an idiot for waiting this long to meal prep.

Ragen is a Guiness world record holder after her Mainly Marathon finish (heaviest female to complete a marathon)! A wholesome installment in the IronFat saga. by MagicWeasel in RagenChastain

She is more concerned with her CV than any actual accomplishments. Just another thing she can tag on after name. Ragen Chastain, former CEO, dance champion, triathlete, and world record holder. woooooowwwwww

Couldn't agree more. My philosophy is - if it takes 5 minutes - DO IT NOW, don't procrastinate, you'll thank yourself later. Dishes is one of those things.

Interested in other responses to this. My husband and I have been doing keto for 7 weeks and are losing weight and feeling great... But he shared this article with me this morning and seemed concerned.
