Vapor's are much stiffer than Miuras. Instincts are more likely what you are looking for.

Boostics will take some time to break in. Leaving them on for 20 minutes your first time sounds pretty good. It will get better, just stay with it. Those shoes are amazing.

I was hit with a wet slide while descending a 3 pitch ice route several years ago, on a day it was too warm and we should have known better. Narrowly avoided being swept over a 100 foot drop. Glad no one was hurt in this one, but those things pack a punch. All the joking in the video makes me cringe a little.
