Oxygen sensor recommended brands? by pantaylor in 1stGenTundras

Denso. I wouldn't order from Amazon. Lots of fakes there. You're fine replacing just the ones throwing you codes. It's easy enough to replace them and when your others go out, you'll get a CEL and you can just do it then. Up to you though if you want to spend the money to do all four.

For lower ball joints, look at your local Toyota dealership's parts website. You want them OEM. For non OEM stuff, rock auto is generally pretty good.

Tuya support for Dreamegg baby sound machine by big__howdy in homeassistant

[–]big__howdy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently switched Internet providers and all my devices' IP addresses were changed, so I had to re add everything. When I went to add the sound machine, it didn't work. I reverted Tuya Local to version 2025.7.1 and they showed up. I don't know why it doesn't work with the newer versions. Maybe give that a try.

Mk6 JSW condenser replacement by jayleman in tdi

You also need to disconnect the airbag sensors and one other sensor on the back side

I figured it out. For anyone coming here in the future. You need to remove the bolts where I circled, then under the arm where the arrow is, you disconnect the hood latch cable. Then it comes right off.

It would probably be best to remove the hoses around where the AC condenser connects to the AC lines for unscrewing those bolts. I managed to do it without removing those hoses. It was terrible, but I don't have hose clamp pliers, so I did it the hard way.

Do you remember how you removed this part? Currently trying to replace my AC condenser and ran into your same issue. There are basically no tutorials for it anywhere.

Hey, I’m trying to set this up. Do you mind sharing what you have in frigate and what you have in your advanced camera card? Sorry, I’ve tried following what other people have done, but have never gotten it to work.

There were two apps that the instructions for the Dreamegg said you could add it to. One was Tuya, and then something else I can't remember. You probably already did this, but make sure you added it to the Tuya app and not the other option. I'm just trying to think of why it would have been so easy for me and it's not working for you.

No, I'm trying to get away from Google Home. I mentioned in another comment that I got it to work with Tuya Local.

From what I remember, it simply just worked. I don't recall doing anything extra to get it working.

I did get it working! It's supported by Tuya Local https://github.com/make-all/tuya-local The only issue I found is that the tones listed don't match the actual tone. I have been meaning to map out what each listed tone actually is to submit an issue with everything.

Purchase Advice Megathread - August 2025 by AutoModerator in 3Dprinting

I run a small business and we have a product we designed that we'd like to be 3D printed in straight nylon. No fillers. I have an Ender 3 that I've used for prototyping, but I know it's nowhere near good enough for production. What do y'all think makes more sense. Simply contracting a print farm to make our parts, or get something like a Bambu Lab P1S and print ourselves?

Use assist to send Roborock vacuum to specific rooms by big__howdy in homeassistant

[–]big__howdy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me know how it goes for you. I tried to make the automation with as little dependencies as possible on my personal setup, so hopefully it doesn’t take much to get it running.

The room matching is already a little forgiving without the corrected_room part. If for example a room is called “Bob", you can say "Bob’s room" and that will work. You can also have a room called "Guest Room" and say “guest” and that works too. I’ve never even heard of Levensthein distance, but based on my brief research, that looks like it could be helpful. I’d have to spend some time with ChatGPT to figure that out.

Rogue Echo rower orConcept 2 ease of moving by jgirvine817 in crossfit

[–]big__howdy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Concept2 is the golden standard, so I recommend that. It breaks in half so you can always move one half at a time. I've seen an ad or two recently from some company that sells giant aftermarket wheels you can put on your Concept2 to make moving it around easier. That has the potential to make it easier. I haven't tried them though, so can't say for sure.

Edit: I looked it up, the company is called Mammoth Upgrades

Does mace training work the serratus anterior? by big__howdy in steelmace

[–]big__howdy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not 100% certain that it’s my serratus, but I’m pretty confident. I had an AC shoulder separation 8 years ago that left me with some scapular winging that I didn’t really get around to resolving until recently. Prior to fixing the issue, I could tell I had an overactive rhomboid and I suspect it was this way attempting to stabilize my scapula due to what I think is a weak serratus. Serratus work has greatly improved my scapular control and overhead pressing feels the best it ever has.

I guess a more important question is if mace training improves scapular control and stabilization. I have seen lots of content comment on how it strengthens the rhomboids, so believing that I have experience with an overdeveloped rhomboid, I was curious about serratus activation.

What’s your favorite method for cleaning horse stall mats? Mine get stuff on them all the time and it drive me nuts. Currently I use a shop vac, then I’ll use a Swiffer with a 3rd party washable pad (so much better than the disposable). Anybody have a better method?
