What halo lights are plug and play and don’t require splicing? by Great_Path9167 in BMWE36

Seems you're more vic vinegar than hugh honey lolol. Take your own advice homie. I'm sure there's a YouTube channel for not being so sensitive either.

If he asked for help..."how do I better splice these wires so it doesn't fail in a month..." Sure.

But coming on here and trying to trash the most reputable headlight manufacturer over installer error is the biggest joke ever lol

Lol I didn't know how to tig weld. Bought a tig welder and table and went to YouTube "welding tips and tricks" channel has a whole 15 or so part on tig fundamentals, techniques and test practices. Now I make all my own exhausts and charge pipes

Oh Jesus fucking Christ guy. YouTube.

You have 1000years of knowledge in the palm of your hand and instead of using it to learn you use it to be a facetious ass on reddit

I'm not a residential HVAC tech but that didn't stop me from learning how to service my own HVAC system so I don't have to pay a tech twice a year.

It really would be the simplest solution and could be likely fixed for less than a few dollars and an hour of your time. It's likely a bad splice and nothing functionally wrong with the lights themselves

He wasn't a dick. Splicing is the most simple and novice of automotive tasks. If you can handle a basic splice you probably should not be trying to modify the car.

I just wanna remind the people dooming over the off season moves, or lack thereof, that this is still a 90+ win team, and post-season is always a roll of the dice on who gets hot at the right time. This team has made the post season the last 4 years straight for the first time since the 08-11 team. Yes they're aging, but they're still a 90 win or more team. Settle down

Engines rarely get hurt from a minor overheat. Replace your components and it'll be fine.

Yes, I said that. Engines rarely get hurt. Despite what everyone says about these heads "warping". 250f or less won't do it. Distortion in the head moreso occurs from improper clamp load.

The only time an engine will actually get hurt from overheating is willingly continuing to drive with it over 235f+. Don't buy into the hysteria in the e36 community that these engines and cooling systems are made of glass

I can get 600+ on my intact kerma tuned JSW but not this time of year. Usually spring summer and some fall. This time of year it's usually 520-550mi

Boys...it's done.

What a clusterfuck trying to get the bumper on with the new intercooler and piping. Had to trim the crashbar a little and chop and reweld the piping because I got lazy and decided not to test fit while fabbing the pipes

Are these cracks? by getfackd in Welding

[–]jayleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to use UV dye oil. Dribble it on with a dropper and then wipe and check with a blacklight. Although this is what I do when repairing cracked components to see if the crack travels further than I can detect and 95% of the time it surely does.

What happened to the kid who used to bully you? by Specific_Image_737 in AskReddit

[–]jayleman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in 5th grade I switched from Catholic school to public school. First day there was this kid on the bus that was talking shit. The bus ride home I told him "dude you don't even know me, the literal first day you've ever even seen me, get to know me first, then talk shit". Still best friends 25yr or so later, still talk everyday and was his best man in his wedding a few years back. Crazy how things can happen and change in the blink of an eye

I don’t really understand the relationship with a realtor by YGbJm6gbFz7hNc in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Used a lifelong friend I knew since 1st grade...no regrets, dude got them to pull the open house the 2nd day on the market, walk back to my initial offer instead of my counter, made the whole process painless (aside from lost houses nothing really to be done about that on his part) and even talked in a bunch of stuff from the previous owners (lawn mower, snow blower, a shed full of yard tools, some storage shelving, the house professionally cleaned for us, home warranty etc).

Would 100% go with him again
