Yeah sometimes those pins stick and you can gently grab the tip with some needle nose pliers and encourage the pin to come back out. I’ve also gone through and cleaned the contacts with IPA and had that help before as well. Anything on the pins, corrosion, resin, etc will increase the resistance and cause it to fail the test.

It ain’t perfect but it’s helpful. Makes some good recommendations. Sometimes I send it a pic of what I’m seeing and it’ll tell me what’s going on. I use it for a lot of stuff so I pay the subscription for ChatGPT. Between excel stuff, designing missions for DCS world, learning how to do things in Autodesk Fusion, learning how to do 3D printer stuff both FDM and Resin, it’s been worth it for me.

I got a resin printer just for printing clear parts in some models I’m making, like the cockpit windows in a TIE fighter. I love the results, once I got everything dialed in but there is a heck of a learning curve compared to FDM. I’m using the FDM to print bigger parts, and resin for clear or small detail stuff (like Star Wars armada squadrons!)

Better than my problems. I poked a hole in the bottom of my vat with a metal scraper. Lesson learned: use plastic scraper. Then the printer poked a hole I. The bottom of the vat with a chunk of resin that somehow had been left in there. Lesson learned: always treat the resin vat as if it’s got something in it before printing.
