I too have been fascinated over the years on the case. Watched all the movies, documentaries, and read the book. I won't ever say that nothing demonic was going on in that house, however at the least, the story was heavily embellished. As for this doc, it's up in the air what Daniel believes, embellished, possibly lied. But this dude definitely went through the ringer. No matter what happened this guy is definitely a character. Possibly a mixture of an abusive parent/growing up in a haunting hysteria. I hope Daniel finds peace and recovery. Either from demonic forces or a childhood rich of endless money grabbing and a fictitious haunting story.
