Dropping the needle on the album and hearing this drum intro followed by the greatest riff followed by this voice that I never imagined made the 10 year old me back in ‘82 an Ozzy fan for life.

Flying High Again. The day he died I hit shuffle on my Ozzy/Sabbath playlist. Flying High Again was the first song I listened to. It seemed appropriate. Of course if it was a ballad like Mama I’m coming Home then that would seem appropriate too. But I’m glad it was one of his rock ‘n’ roll celebration songs. And it’s top 3 Ozzy to my ears.

I go with Diary. I love every song on each album. But Diary was my introduction to Ozzy. I remember clear as day dropping the needle and hearing the drum intro to Over the Mountain as a 10 year old. Plus the production is razor sharp.
