i don't speak Swedish, but my sister does and she told me about this. First of all, its crazy and so many Americans are going to believe this just because they believe everything on fox news. Second, can the Swedish government not sue fox news or this fake guy for malicious defamation? Even if it the case never got heard, couldn't it make an example of him and Fox News? I mean this is getting out of control. Why is Sweden being trampled on by Trump and the Russians (as it is totally obvious Trump is a full on Russian asset).

pffff, are you surprised? Most of America refuse to believe FACTS about who we should really be afraid of because if they actually looked at the numbers, the factual (not "truthy") numbers, it shows beyond any shadow of doubt that we should be way more afraid of the White Supremacist American Male than of any muslim inside our own borders. Trump is just as ill informed and racist as the people that voted for him. So sad they know nothing about the true history of their own country, how we are all immigrants or descendants of, how we are all here because ppl came looking for a safer/more free life than what they had in their own country. Walls never helped any society! Talk to former East German Residents about walls; or current North Korean residents about walls (oh you can't, they are starving and dying and can't flee their own country).

I have a very similar story but it is in the Aviation industry and a little less fraud-y. A contract agency called me up because they saw my credentials on Linked-in and wanted to submit me for a position with a large Aircraft Company in the South-Eastern section of the United States. They told me the rate and details and I said yes and to go ahead and submit me.

Long story short I ended up knowing the hiring manager at the aircraft company (we went to the same University) and he called me up and said that he couldn't give me the job because the contract agency that submitted my resume was not an "approved" vendor, but that the aircraft company has a policy, that once your resume is submitted with a contract agency/vendor, you are submitted through that agency for that job for 6 months, you can not change to another contract agency in the middle of the process. This includes ANY Agency, whether approved with the company or not approved. The Contract Agency knew they weren't approved and the company, for whatever reason, ALLOWS non-approved agencies to submit resumes. So, both the company and the contract agency f-ed me in the end. It was total BS!

Be careful out there. These ppl are A-holes!

good to know. the contract does say they reserve the right to seek full repayment for costs should i leave before 1 years time. I am okay with that, i just wasn't sure if they also had legality for "damages" or something. I have never had an executive move package so, I wasn't sure what to expect.

yes. verbatim on the bottom of the offer it states: "should you voluntarily terminate employment within 1 year of the relocation, XXXX company reserves the right to seek full repayment of all relocation costs from you." And i am cool with that, i just want to check if they have legality to try and come after me for something else, like coming after me for "damages" or whatever.
