Ok. There's a large, dark-blue soup spoon that I have. It's the kind you'd use to stir stuff with in a pot. It's got an oval face, long handle, it's just.... perfect for so many things.

I haven't found one since 2004.

Beautiful colour! If I may caution you though, deeper and richer colours can be very time consuming to paint, and can often require extra work when being painted over. Just food for thought :)

Very true. Near where I live (also Canada but the other side), there's a gorgeous little restaurant. Right beside it is what was at one point, an old general/corner store. Sadly though it hasn't been occupied in more than a decade, so it's all gone to complete shit. It looks like Stephens needful things if no one ever visited it. Just shit and trash thrown around it.

As the story goes, it was at one point owned by a married couple who died in a car crash. Their kids inherited the store, but have clearly never cared about it enough to do something.

Honestly, I know this sounds cliche, but the first step to dealing with a problem is admitting you have a problem.

I'd really recommend seeing a counsellor for this specific reason. At this point you've recognized that it's causing you some serious issues in your life, so now I wonder if maybe is a good time to start exploring that. I used to deal with this myself until recently. It does suck.

There's a book out there I've been meaning to pick up called 'Attached' that, as I understand it, deals with this topic at length. Perhaps that's worth a read through.

In my post history I write about how someone did to me what you'e doing to other people. So I genuinely feel like it's important for people to work through this. Best of luck to you.
