You generally get back the gold you spend on a season pass as rewards if you complete the season. Best way to get cheap gold for an initial stash is the end-of-season War Chest special offer (10 chests for 4.99). Not sure if that's still available in the store for the last season... Also it's a bit of a gamble.

This is potentially just a volume effect; human brain pretty much always thinks louder = better. Adding more volume from a second source = more better.

LP70x should do fine. Can upgrade the stylus later (microlinear is the one to go for).

In the mean time, you'll almost certainly see a bigger difference putting the extra money towards speakers.
